Sitting on this tinny land surrounded by Taliban he is actually declaring his death .

political negotiations (between the Talibs and the real power brokers of Panjshir) should be done to get this guy out of Afghanistan for his and everyone’s benefit. Spare Afghanistan anymore instability, so that reconstruction and foreign aid can come in and the refugees inside and outside Afghanistan can finally go home and live in peace.

IMHO, Abdullah Abdullah would probably be the first Panjshir leader wanting This saleh to leave.

VP for what lol? A VP who doesn't have any authority left. Not a single soldier or government servent pledge his alliance to him.

Abdullah Abdullah (as the runner up for the presidency in the last election and the right hand man of the late NA commander Masood) and Karzai (as a former president) have more authority then this clown. This is why getting those two to endorse the new setup will be key for domestic and international recognition in places where there are supporters of the old regime.
