Amitabh Bachchan in legaltrouble over Quran remark

Will Hafeez Saeed allow Shahrukh Khan to live with his Hindu wife and have temple in his house ?

Would he ask his wife to convert to Islam or allow her to remain hindu and let Shahrukh live like a Muslim ?

.
Limus test - Hafiz saeed the charity worker and eminent water conservationist has invited shahrukh khan to move to islamic republic of pakistan.

If he moves to pakistan (or any other country as he's a famous billionaire who any country will happily accept) where he will obviously be safer because its an islamic republic, then we will accept the state of minorities is the same in both countries, as there are so many cases of hindus and sikhs moving to India from PK lately. Otherwise we will accept you guys are too insecure and always trying to misread anything an indian muslim says.

Untill then, your silly propaganda means nothing, and as to the case, the indian supreme court headed by chief justice almatas kabir - a muslim himself, ably assisted by solicitor general nariman - a parsee, is more than capable of handling the issue. You guys can breate easy, do yoga, helps.

@fateh71,
Just to add to the underlined information; Rohinton Nariman the Solicitor General of India happens to be Parsee.
The Advocate General of India (who was the earlier Solicitor General) happens to be Goolam Essaji Vahanvati. Now which community/religion does G.E.Vahanvati belong to? :)

Read the thread. All Pakistanis are using this news to question secularism in India.

They are generalizing India based on few events.

We are just laughing at desperation of Pakistanis to prove that Muslims live better life and are safe in Pakistan than in India. But the Reality slaps them every day.

So its the itch on their faces that is irritating them. :enjoy:

Because you guys are trying to lecture us on secularism without anything knowing about it. :hitwall::rofl:

A petition was filed in the
Allahabad High Court accusing
Bollywood superstar Amitabh
Bachchan of having made a
"derogatory" remark, "with
malicious intention", about a Holy book in a more than a
year-old episode of the TV quiz
show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
The petition was filed by Mudassir Ullah Khan, a resident
of Jhansi, who has taken
exception to the use of the
phrase "racha
gaya" (composed) in the
context of the Holy book by Bachchan in the episode aired
on 28.09.2011. The petitioner has sought to
make Bachchan, besides the
manager of Sony TV and the
'Karyakram
Prayojak' (programme sponsor)
of Kaun Banega Crorepati a party in the case. Khan has contended the Holy
book was "neither written nor
created by anybody, rather it
came into existence/revealed
by Allah (God) Himself" and
hence the use of the phrase "racha gaya" was tantamount
to "a serious offence" as
Bachchan was a "popular
figure" and "words used by
him affect all communities". Khan has also challenged
orders of Chief Judicial
Magistrate and District and
Sessions Judge of Jhansi, dated
29.11.2011 and 21.5.2012
respectively, whereby his pleas for directing the police to
register an FIR under Indian
Penal Code sections dealing
with hurt caused to religious
sentiments were turned down. Khan has also submitted that
while the CJM had dismissed his
complaint "illegally and
without application of mind",
the District Judge turned down
his subsequent criminal revision terming it as "frivolous
and vexatious" besides
submitting that no objection
was raised by any "school,
institution or the
Mohammadan community" nor was there any "fatwa" issued
against Amitabh Bachchan. The petition is likely to come
up for hearing before a Bench
next week.

Amitabh Bachchan in legal trouble over Quran remark - Hindustan Times

One can enjoy such degree of nonsense freedom only in India and still our neighbours cry hoarse about infringement of minority rights.

LOL India democracy.

these Guys have more Muslims in Numbers then most of the Muslim Countries but still their knowledge about Islam is less then a 5 years old Kid.

How Lovely.

This nonsense about individuals being secular has been taken to the pits. There is some thread where a dumb chap in Pakistan is worried that people may get killed if they announce they are secular......:hitwall: Being for secularism is one thing....but being secular...How exactly does that work? Maybe a Muslim, in Pakistan or India decides he wants to be secular.... So he has to start with treating any, all and no belief equally. No more of "there is no God but....". No more saying that there is God because that is repugnant to atheists, no saying that there is no God because that is repugnant to believers...no saying that there is only one God, that is repugnant to Hindus,Buddhists, Jains etc....even to Christians because they don't swear allegiance to the same God even if they believe that theirs is the only true God.....Want to try & be secular..?? A guaranteed visit to the nearest health institution will undoubtedly follow......

Secularism is a state attribute where the state treats all its citizens equally regardless of their personal religious beliefs or lack thereof. Individuals can only aspire to be tolerant. Even atheists can't be secular because they would then have to allow for all the religious stuff that others bring in...... It is simply nonsense to suggest otherwise.

Don't tell me he's Muslim too. Damn this is depressing indeed. We hindus are horribly failing at stopping these meat eaters :(

Ice going to wolf down an albatross burger with spring onions to start with, today! That will make me as intelligent as these people put together (hope not)!!!

I'm going to eat albatross burger to start with, today!

Dont even try that Al-Batroos Burger; guaranteed stomach-ache.
Vahanvati has been a damned good lawyer, his ancestors come from the same area as a certain M.A. Jinnah and a certain M.C. Chagla; who were both great legal luminaries in their own right.

True, they just can't accept that Indian Muslims have a better lifestyle than them.

Here though they are not in majority, they have better security and their are no sunni-shia clashes in india.

I agree. Looking at comments of Indian members here on this thread is outright disgusting, its full of hatred against Muslims.

The "secularism" really is confined to the courts and institution of India.. The members here are proof that it has no place in actual Indian society.

Wow Indians have such hatred for islam

I will never open a religious thread even when only one hindu is around, there true muslim hate comes out in the open.

What the Fck is a " Mohammadan Community "?

Did he mean Muslims ?

The court will probably do nothing...... reminds me of the babri mosque incident.

You are all looking at the reaction of Indian members from the eyes of a Pakistani who has lived and lapped up those unique blasphemy laws. How, by any sane logic, respect for Islam shall be applicable on non-Muslims as well? And then you all say Islam does not use force!

Not only in India, but in any secular community no one can be forced to needlessly respect any other religion/group if one does not want to.

If Amitabh had said that Koran is word of God, then would it not make him a Muslim? But he is not a Muslim. What is the difference? - Just like any other non-Muslim, he thinks Koran was created by Muhammad. What is wrong with that? You are a Muslim, and you are free to think and believe otherwise. Why force it on others as the Taliban does?

And @Oscar, if this forum were a true representative of the thought process of any populace, then anyone around the world, including your Muslim fellows, looking at it would think of Pakistan as nothing more than the largest terrorist factory in the world. When people look at the views of Pakistanis on this forum, then it is quite natural they will hate Islam and be disgusted by it.

Question for you: Can you guess who is responsible for that?

The intoleration practiced by the moderators in this forum is one of the biggest disservices toward Pakistan and Islam. Jab waqt ho haath me, to zara sochiyega... Zia ke bachche jawaan ho rahe hain.

one can only laugh at Indians' frustration you poor souls are hurt by the truth Shahrukh khan told about Hindu hatered against Muslims that you found no one to vent your frustration but to drag Pakistan into a thread where we have no link with this

Try to be coherent so that people know if you have a point or you are generally talking rubbish about hindus as per your upbringing. The same upbringing that gave you the ability to filter out the mentions of fatwas in shahrukh's article. Islam hatred my a$$!
