That is exactly why facts should not be forgotten, or selectively chosen. Keeping it fair and factual for all circumstances is the best policy.

Yeah so when talking to your friends only, try not to sound like a total cunt next time? I know it's too much to ask from you, but hey you can always try? There's a difference between a private convo and public forum. And yeah, go read a history book to find out who gave the first wife and under what circumstances for a bitter pill moment. Lol. And trust me, no one wants to be you. Also don't go too personal. Thank you.

Many clans and ethnic groups have been using the surname since centuries. It was originally used by both Turks and Mongols. Turkic rulers used the title "Khagan", which means "Khan of Khans" or "king of kings". In Pakistan, the title's used by many different ethnic groups. The title's literally used in every province of the country.
In previous times a head of a Clan was titled 'Khan' thats something happens even in my clan as well although we are Abbassi with mix Arab and Mangol background. Turks of Central Asia are also mix of mangol and turkic blood so is true of different types pf pathan clans as of today because when ever these barbaric mangols used to go they used to take slaves the women of the area and used to produce children from them. Mangols started their quest under Changez Khan in 13-14th century.......Ottoman Turk Empire came into existence i think in 15th century or last tenure of 14th century when Mangols started embarrassing Islam..So later on the clans of their children and mixed children still used the Title 'Khan' either with their surname or giving the title of 'Khan' to their Heads of tribes/clans etc

There are Khans in almost every where in South Asia now even in Bangladesh and India......Those are most of those people who came with Mughals or came later on....There is still a Pathan village in Indian Rajistan area but living such a long time there with no contact with their ancestors or ancestral places a very little Khan is left in them.

Pashtun nobility of turkic rulers of hindostan, were the ones who assumed the title of khan, borrowed it from turks not mongols. Mongols didnt penetrated into koh suileman and koh sufaid ranges in 13th century, pashtuns at that time had not even spread to kandahar let alone kabul.

I personally don't care, lol. I don't take any exceptional pride in him belonging to the same region as I do. I was just clarifying to a random loser on the internet that Khan=/=Pashtun. General Tikka Khan hailed from the same region as Amir.

From where you have heard this bakwas or you yourself came up with it? ........Pashtun nobility of turkic rulers of hindostan, were the ones who assumed the title of khan, borrowed it from turks not mongols. Im a Student of International Relations. History is our subject in it since im doing a PhD. The history specifically im talking abt is of Central Asia where the mangols came just after invading China........Pathans of Afghanistan usually/generally have their ancestry from Turkic tribes of Central Asia...

Hey immigrant... people are more patriotic and true to their routes than some loser who adopts a new country and starts talkin crap about the one tht raised him..

You whined in the Moin Khan thread aswell..

Now here are a few facts to shut you up about both these people:

Moin Khan:

He was born and spent his childhood in Pakistan.
Holds a Pakistan aswell as an American passport.

Amir Khan:

He was born to Pakistani immigrant parents.
Holds a Pak passport by default.
His brother also represented Pak in olympic games.
He considers himself a Pakistani aswell as British.
He is also opening a boxing academy in Pak with support from the govt,

Last but not the least... they are not pathetic like you general cheng.

.
Has Amir Khan's famous thirty-thousand-pound chaddi been auctioned to raise funds for rehabilitation of the school yet?

.
This is a good initiative by Amir Khan. Death to the Kharijite Taliban.

.
Most UK based Pakistanis identify themselves as Muslims and Pakistanis.

Not true...Mangols came down upto Multan in Pakistan. U can see this part of history from the common libraries and from National Archives in Islamabad. We have a proper documented history of Ancient Pakistan.

Even a simple visit to lok virsa museum in islamabad can tell u that.

Wow my brothers. The level of infighting and abuse on this thread is just appalling. Having deleted several posts, amended many, any other similar posts will evoke thread bans.

Yes but they just passed through passes marched koh sulieman and koh sufaid ranges , can you tell me about any battle of mongols to capture khyber pass, waziristan or zhob?......mongols devastated the settled northern population of afghanistan, the persians, but pashtuns of mountains down south were left to themselves.....it was much later , in late 14th century that emir timur sent military expediations to subdue troublesome pashtun tribes of koh sulieman ranges.
