America’s bizarre love-hate relationship with the Pakistan Army

We must understand that USA often regards itself as the natural heir to the British Empire - being a product of the original Ango-Saxon power.

Millitary Relations are probably the only good relations that Pakistan and the United States have these days damn Bongs and Gangas and their big population in the States ruined the remaining link between DC and Islamabad plus the stupid Uncle's that run the APPNA and the Pakistani Lobbies really did not help the dumpster fire of the USA-Pakistan relations in the related fields of legislative and media affairs
Very well said. We were going to lose out. Just too many bloody wobbling heads from Ganga but the damage could have been mitigated.

I recall years ago one of my Prof. in my freshmen year of college was former US Army praise the regality of the PAF and the structure .The millitary geo-strategic folks despite being neo con Zionist zombies do know which country has decent armed forces compared to the joke we call the media and Congress here

USA took over that role cause the British were fatigued f...gots,as for the Ganga wave its coming my friend Trump and the GOP are pushing for more H1B visa folks and you know Indians are the largest recipents of those visas so in the years to come more Ganga propaganda, more US-Ganga engagement, also more Ganga elected officials in Congress,Governors,Mayors, and other officies while our diaspora just deals with the greater "ummmah chummah" and we forget Kashmir trash Pakistan via the libturd and go crazy over "muh Syrians" "muh Uighur" "muh Rohingya" at least the UK Pakistanis still lobby hard than we do

Who had taken over 3/4 of the globe. No other power has ever achieved that and all that from few acres of rock betwixt Atlantic and North Sea. That deserves some respect.

That is correct but I am talking about the early-mid 20th Century under Winston Churchill who was a fatigued drunkard who wanted to give the mantle to FDR which he did

Pakistan is once again an ally of necessity. We need to be very careful. I do not mind peace, but it shouldn't come at Pakistan's expense. The Americans would never have pleaded for talks from a position of strength. They are today bogged down and opting for talks because they are fatigued and don't have other options. The Americans are again looking at their own situation and interests.

We need to continue our fruitful relationship with China. China is our regional ally. Never abandoned Pakistan. Pakistan needs to ditch appeasement policy. Look to build genuine and honest relations close to home.

US Pak relationship can never ever be the same. It is like a broken porcelain. It can be glued together, but it will never have the same appeal ever again. We can patch up things, but that is it. I am sure the Americans realize this as well. The porcelain will always remain broken.
70% of the marriages in the USA end up in divorce. More than 50% of the kids are born into single parents (out of wedlock)....

US and Pakistan military are more often then not on the same wavelength. Furthermore the military is insulated from political lobbies [read Indian lobby in USA] and finds the Pakistan Army to be a good partner with a stable policy that delivers. Also there is the strong historical tradition going back to 1947 and beyond that lubricates the exchanges between both militaries. Many of the Pak officers moulded in the tradition of Sandhurst make a strong impact on US officers. Ayub,Yayha, Zia, Musharaf had many admirers in USA.

No Sir, US does not want to deal with political leadership of any country and contrary to popular beliefs and
so-called US support for democracy they want dictatorship in every country where one man makes decision. As soon as you will have a strong democratic govt that is able to control Pakistan Army, believe you me US will start propaganda to weaken that govt. That should also explain why do all Liberal in Pakistan love to create rift between Army and Gvt. Why do this question comes up almost on daily Basis "Is Army and Gvt on same page"
