No diplomacy required here. I think in America a woman would have just slapped him across the face and called him a jerk and that's where it would have ended - no matter whose fault it was.

Mazari sounds like a woman under strain: I suppose she is trying to rationalize hating America and not quite succeeding in doing so. Then this guy comes along and bumps her so at least she can rationalize hating him and all that suppressed emotion comes pouring out.

Even if the guy wasn't white or American, he should have apologized after bumping into the doc's chair, it's called common courtesy and being a gentleman. We do not hate all Americans, in fact we don't hate Americans at all. It is the arrogance of some Americans and the policies of the GoUSA that are despised my most of the Pakistanis.
