Salaam
This right here is why Muslims need to work towards an economic block of some sort.
The concept of Ummah and such has very clear benefits.
When the US threatens the EU- the EU you can reply much better than any individual state there can.
If you don't have the size to fight individually - you make alliances and join together to become a much stronger force.
The weaker you are, the more compromises you've got to make.
Muslim countries simply lack serious individual capacity to resist the giants.
There is a reason why countries like France and Germany put their grievances behind to form the EU. It's also why the UK is panicking because of Brexit.
There is strength in numbers.
Otherwise, they'd get the GCC to cancel themselves out whilst doing the same to Iran. The Iraqis and the Syrians have been taken out. Whatever happened with Pakistan post 9/11 happened. We all know the attempted CIA coup in Turkey and all the stuff before and since.
This tweet is just so very insulting and yet you know at this point the US does have the financial clout to really mess up the Turkish economy.
Hopefully these threats will force our people together to protect our interests collectively.
I think he is referring to the economic crisis a few months ago when Turkish Lira plummeted against US$. But I think now Turkey has recovered and has developed some mechanism to avoid that situation again.''Like the last time''
Pakistan is playing its role but unfortunately the Arab-Iran, Arab-Arab and Arab-Turk, Pak-Iran conflicts are a big hurdle and need to be resolved first.Salaam

Look how they have 'Destroyed' Iran's Economy. I think Turkey is going to be just fine.
--->Do you know how much one dollar is in Iranian currency? Compare it 10 years back and now. Not pretty.
I dont think Trump means "destroying the economy" of turkey means increased inflation etc. Trump wants to suppress Turkey so their influence in M.E fades away. Does Iran give an impression of a failed economy by the way? Iran is still acting like a strong regional power and giving tough time to USA and I respect Iranian perseverance for that.
As long as Murica runs the global economy a lot of countries around the world will continue to be sanctioned to death.
West running the global economy is thanks to Western colonialism. West colonised lands around the world and imposed their will on everybody.
Ever since industrialisation it gave them further control of the global economy. Murica taking control is the icing in the cake. Its a monopoly on the world.
If Muslims dont learn history and their own history the same mistakes will be made.
