Having 1-2 Apache is not going to cut it

Mi-35 is ideal choice for Pakistan Military's present need for Ground Support/ Tactical Air defence and Special Op needs.

Apache is heavy on maintenence and we don't need apache to fight guys on Toyota Pickups and stolen cars

a) Expensive
b) Too much technology
c) No ability to airlift troops or rescue missions or carry supplies to war areas

There were some discussions long time ago that USA might provide Super Cobras to Pakistan in 2014 or something however nothing materialized meanwhile Pakistan suffered

a) Earth Quake
b) Floods
c) Snow Avelanche desaster in North
d) Not to metion many Terrorist activites

Lack of Helicopters with Troops carrying has hampered our operational capacity to combate Terrorism acorss border on both sides and with in certain areas

We requested Cobras Gun Ships (painfully released with delay of 10 years)
We requested Chinooks , ignored
We requested modern Helicopters again problems ...

Pakistan should move on and buy Mi/WZ/Atak choppers rather than going after Apache
Apache are sanction pron plus american giving us the MLU version which could serve us for 20 years max
