I was also just thinking about post 2014 scenarios. I hope there would be peace in this south asian region, but it seems very very unlikely, not to forget that India and Pakistan are two long lost brothers. I generally don't talk about peace but if peace won't happen in 2014 then we might witness most deadliest wars soon in next decade.

Correct, because you can only 'give' something that belongs to you in the first place. Kashmir belongs to the Kashmiri people not to India or Pakistan.

Solution is simple, stop behaving like the high school bully, stop trying to subvert our state and other smaller states. Instead cooperate with them in business and human development.

What's done is done, I can throw some facts though:

->Ladakh is more than half the area of J&K and almost 70-75% of its population wants complete merger with India. It has Buddhists and Shia Muslims as majority.
->Jammu is slightly smaller than Ladakh and has Hindus as majority, followed by Sunni Muslims and Sikhs. 75-80% of its people want complete merger with India.
->Kashmir is the tiniest part of J&K, a minor speck on the map of J&K, bordering Pakistan. It has a comprehensive Sunni Muslim majority, thanks to the ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits in the early 1990s! Almost 80% of Kashmiris want complete independence from India and barely 4-5% want to join Pakistan. The rest want either special status with autonomy in India or complete merger with India or status-quo.

and yah Pakistan occupied Kashmir is in much brutal state, just that it doesn't comes much into consideration, the Pak occupied Kashmir burns but it is hidden.
