As the time passes. Islamabad is going deep into the, seemingly unsung question.



A day after India annexed Occupied Kashmir, a reaction , a rather strong one is imminent from Pakistan.

But one wonders, What are the options Pakistan has left with as it struggles to get International support.



The most Important development so far is that US was not only informed prior to the decision but also gave India the nod.

Time is running out for Pakistan, condemnation and internationalization will surely not work much, but one thing is sure, this is not going to be an easy road down.

I personally believe that it has some tact approval from some other quarters as well. What India has done is very critical and it will only make third party intervention inevitable.

US has given India green signal to revoke article 370. FATF will be used to quell any insurgent support. US will ignore Pakistan's request to intervene into this matter.

Zaid hamid was right. We should have backed out of Afghanistan peace process and recognized Taliban as de-facto ruler with their office in Islamabad.

Calm down. This is a blessing in disguise for Pakistan.

The USA wants to leave Afghanistan. India is just throwing tantrums because it cannot really do anything about the beating it got both in Doklam and on February 27 with a double whammy of being completely defeated in Afghanistan.

The USA is an empire. It feels no love or loathing towards anyone. It only has its interest as the ultimate priority. Doklam was a test of Indian resolve to stand up to China and it failed, miserably, worse than anyone thought possible. Then came the Pakistani attack on February 27 and India submitted like it always has throughout it's history.

You guys need to calm down. India is no USA. The moment Pakistan focuses on Kashmir like it did on Afghanistan it will be game end for India.

This is their last attempt at somehow creating an atmosphere of pressure around CPEC. But as always, India is willingly blind to the extreme punishment China can inflict on it, let alone Pakistan and China together.

The USA has no intentions of safeguarding anything other than its own interests. The USA is a super power, expect it to behave like one.

Exactly. Unless US is here, we can't do much about it. Also Balochistan insurgency will be over with few months once US moves out. We need to make sure that Indian presence in Afghanistan is over as well and that is ONLY possible once US exits.
