East Pakistan was a very different situation. East Pakistan (Bangladesh) was the size of Sindh province with more population than all of West Pakistan (Pakistan) combined, and was surrounded by India on all 4 corners. We in West Pakistan didnt even share a land connected to East Pakistan while Balochistan is connected to all provinces of Pakistan and is the least populated area in all of Pakistan.

And it would be very naive and very stupid if the Pak Fauj and ISI just left Balochistan when many countries are interested in causing chaos in the province of Pakistan.

I know traitors like you and your master Altaf Hussain would love it if Pakistan was broken, but thats not happening again. If one part of Pakistan goes, then we all go with it. We didnt build our nuclear program for nothing. And Pakistan must take strict action against the traitors in Pakistan like China does in its country.

well most havent openly anknowledged nor critisized islamic extremism ,talibanisation of pakistan , fuedals nor military estabilishment. I am yet too see any one who does that ... remember just in the beganing of this year salman taseer and shahbaz bhatti (these are high profile people) were murdered except them i dont have a count of murders but there are thousands slaughtered.

I admire that but my point is that life of every leader is in danger. Even that taliban supporter Fazlul Rehman was not spared by them. They are still living in Pakistan somehow. Altaf could comeback and could be given maximum protection. It's not that difficult. If our coward leadership could live here so how he can't? I don't buy this argument that his life is in danger that's why we are keeping him safe. A leader has to lead from the front. He needs to show bravery if he wants the nation to follow him. That's not just my view. This is biggest argument against him.

I don't blame MQM alone for the mess. I equally blame ANP and PPP. However, being in the coalition Govt, responsibility goes to them as well.
Karachi is a mini subcontinent so i could understand that tensions will be always high. This is not the first time that Karachi has seen violence. It is the militancy that is the problem. You know what people of Punjab think? They thing that if we allow them to come here then we will see the same targeted killings in Lahore as well. It's a fear. Can MQM address that?

you answered it your self , MQM needs him safe as they need his policies , he is been running things long enough and knows it all inside out. Difference btw him and zardari is zardari choose to be the president he has openly said he doesnt want to be one. What MQM is trying to do under his leadership is to bring up leaders and politicians from within middleclass , this culture of heriditary politics must be finished.... and for that we need altaf. And give it another 15 years he and most will have to leave ..... its for our next generations.

So whether he is not the PM, the true power would still lie with him. He will pull the strings. That was my point. It is the party chairman who make policies. PM will be just a showpiece. In other words he prefers a backseat which will allow him more freedom. Now that's clever.

MQM talks against feudalism but don't mind their support e.g PML-Q. Care to explain?

Ok i will give you my opinion as well. MQM has a lot of potential and certainly a lot to offer. I admire their liberalism but they should counter militancy and also other impressions about them that i mentioned. They should change their party chairman as well. Other MQM members are quite competent.

Edit your post immediately. How dare you called your countrymen a traitor? If someone supports MQM then that doesn't mean that he is a traitor. Change your mentality.

As for Balochistan, leave that province under the control of ISI and Pak Fauj for the time being. There are all kinds of games being played in that province by world powers and neighbouring countries. ISI and Pak Fauj need to keep a firm grip on that province.

I don't agree with you. We need to address their concerns. Use of force will not reduce anti Pakistan sentiment over there. However let's stick to the topic. I just want to know that how can Punjab solves Baluchistan problem. What can we do?

People never see the irony when talking about militancy in Karachi , What about Sialkot style lynching’s and cannibalism of javed iqbal. Will it be justifiable, if people from Karachi start getting paranoid about every political party or individual based in Punjab ? The phenomena of militancy in Karachi did not come about with the inception of MQM. Read history, Karachi faced this problem before MQM baptized itself with fire.

Fata where the Talibans have their bases who has trained their young and bombed litterally every town /city / sect in pakistan , they have killed over 30,000 pakistanis till now God knows how many more to go and here we are comparing them with unrest in Baluchistan ...
