very difficult in current scenario, if not impossible!
We are gonna come back to this tweet and laugh.
“it cannot be repaired under the current government in Islamabad.” The officials further warned of consequences that Pakistan may face if it does not toe the American line on these issues and fall in line. Which explains the increasing number of meetings between U.S. diplomats and opposition leaders in Pakistan"Yeah I'm going to wait for the so called letter, US expressing 'displeasure' over Pak's decision and showing it, does not mean they want regime change which he is alluding to. This is just IK overblowing the issue to gather populist support and instead of showing evidence he's just teasing it. Plus if this is true he is also subtly accusing the army of not following Pak's foreign policy which is crude to say the least.

I don't understand what tangible benefit does the US gain exactly from openly trying to encourage the undermining of democracy, it looks bad from every angle. China has converging interests in this regard as well and would like to see a different party in power as they have their fair share of grievances with the way the projects/relationship has been going while Imran Khan has been ruling but they haven't been open about it. The bolded statement again is being misconstrued as regime change, there is nothing explicitly being said about it, for all we know it could be restrictions of some sorts either military, diplomatic, economic etc. IK is trying to use its vague nature to spin it in his own favour.“it cannot be repaired under the current government in Islamabad.” The officials further warned of consequences that Pakistan may face if it does not toe the American line on these issues and fall in line. US will not risk a violent regime change which endangers the safety of Pakistani nukes. However, from this excerpt it seems that they are doing all in their "soft" power to remove the Khan administration and are being open about it.
If true, this will be the biggest blunder in Biden's foreign policy and send Pakistan straight to China's camp. It also removes the constraints on Pakistan for supporting insurgencies in India, AUKUS' cannon fodder against China.
Maybe someone like Zardari would let this pass, but with IK there will be consequences. The US may have miscalculated here as they are used to dealing with "slacker" gov'ts like Zardari's.

I agree the US has had a a history of engaging in such acts but they do such things covertly and when they require so, we got to know a lot of the details of such things much much later, even now they are being uncovered. So again why would you throw away secrecy of such a highly sensitive act. That and the fact that the Military has not seen any evidence or has at least not said anything about it yet. If the claims can be corroborated i'll believe it but like i said at the moment there is nothing meaningful. What makes you think the US cares about democracy? Their direct support of dictatorships and monarchies across the world? Regular CIA intervention in developing countries? Maybe the torture camps at Guantanomo bay fill you with confidence about the US commitment to human rights too?
This is not the letter.
