LAHORE: The minister for Defense Production Sardar Abdul Qayum Jatoi has urged for the print of Allama Iqbal image on 100-rupees currency note as this will be a good message for youth.

This he said talking to media during a seminar held here in remembrance of Koray Khan Jatoi on Monday.

He said most of the countries have printed the images of their national heroes on currency notes so we must print the image of our national poet Allama Iqbal on 100-rupees currency note.

I think the way our money is losing value, we better not defile Allama,s picture and name by putting him on it. You will soon only be able to buy a toilet roll with a 100 Rs note. Secondly, this nation does not deserve to call Allama Iqbal as its hero, with all its antics.
