I will call it superstition. Calamities occur all around the world.

I remember in 2005 earthquake when Margalla towers collapsed, one of my friend said the same thing that residents of Margalla tower were very bad people (as they were rich). So in her words "un per khuda ka azzab nazil hua hai". Although many kids were died in that tragedy as well but i guess she didn't realize that.

Flood in Pakistan has occurred probably due to global warming.
