All thermal plants to run on Thar coal: PM Ashraf

Digging up the coal and getting it to the power plant in the quantities needed on a steady, sustained basis.

We do not have lignite based power plants, yet.
We also do not know for certain that if thar coal really is so impractical.
So, I assume the announcement was in context of new plants, which shall be properly planned.

Further, If imported oil can be supplied to our gas-guzzler, oil based power plants and they still being profitable that don't be such a pessimist.

Please read the opening part again:

.........only Thar coal would be used for coal-based power generation in the future and all conversions of existing and construction of new power projects would be designed on Thar coal specifications.

Lignite coal is impractical in this application, and I am only a realist.

^^ we do not have existing coal power plants, which can be available for conversion... dosn't matter what is said or added.

Therefore, I maintain the context to new power plants, however, which will never be built, by Zardari clan.

Okay, if it "does not matter what is said or added", then the whole discussion is rather pointless. I thought words were meant to matter, but that is just me, apparently.
