This time it was more common Pakistanis who went out against Army not just a few members of PTI. All of PTI leadership was taken by Police, apart from third tier leadership , which clearly meant it was common Pakistanis venting anger.

Lahore Corps Commandar & GHQ vicious attack is a wake up call for the decorated Military Junta.

Lets as a team Defence Forum fulfill its purpose and support Pakistan Military and stop complaining too much on every little Tom, Dick and Harry. Please the forum members, Twitter, Youtube and Facebook and all of other Social Media - should look at your self, fix your follies, improve Pakistan, plead for New Elections. Be sensible Pakistanis.

Nothing can change overnight specially when your establishment is still not ready to learn any lesson and back off from political interference and removing Governments and bringing MAFIAS like Shareef and Zardari family back to power over and over again.

Things will not calm down until army full accepts that this is a democratic country and they are under the control of the government chosen by the people, they don't govern the country alongside the government. They are being paid by the civilians of this country in the form of taxes to do their job and i.e. to protect the borders instead of meddling in politics. Apni job karke kisi pr ehsaan ni kar rhe, their value is the same as that of a government servant. Their perks should be the same as government servant and they shouldn't be given any land.

Lets see if our trust in IK actually materializes in him doing something meaningful when he comes in power i.e. making constitutional changes that make it impossible to impose Martial law, the military are treated the same way as the civilians, they are tried in the same courts, abolishment of DGISPR, empowerment of Minister of Defense, abolishment of cantonments, No retired military personnel in important government positions, ISI getting completely reformed and fully under control of the government, FC and Rangers being their own forces and not under control of military, so much more etc.

there was never a doubt that agency of multiple countries including Raw interfere in our politics but you want our own to stay away from it. that will be suicide. see what one rouge COAS and DG ISI (bajwa and faiz) brought about. Politician will not be able to pass even finance bill.

Don't distort facts. This is our Pak military that never allowed single Prime minister to complete 5 year term. Why closing your eyes this is our 75 year history. Don't say that ISI is part of Raw.

We need to less the army budget and manpower and focus more on being a Naval power. The Navy is always out of the nation and thus cannot take command from the middle of the atlantic while on patrols. Whatever entity can be kept far from PK, fund that. Heck even a space borne army would be the best interest of the nation.

They are already a party to it, have been for a very very long time. That is why when they say "We are neutral", that just does not help in current situation. They are the ones who created this and they are the ones who need to help stop it. Once we have fair and transparent election and a legitimate government is elected, then yes they need to be reduced to their one and only function .. Help civilian government protect Pakistan from all threats.

For the time being them being fooled by a narcissist woman and a druggie interior minister is causing an irreparable loss.
