King Porus gave Alexander all he could handle and then some and no he did not defeat Sikander.......sometimes I find it astonishing when sons of the Ganges claim ownership of Porus, what the hell have southerners got to do with him , I always wonder, completely flabbergasted.Kudos Pandit kid

Porus belonged to my city/region and everything thats affiliated with him is the heritage of my region and my region alone. How does it matter if outsider living 2000 kilometres away lay a claim on his legacyKing Porus gave Alexander all he could handle and then some and no he did not defeat Sikander.......sometimes I find it astonishing when sons of the Ganges claim ownership of Porus, what the hell have southerners got to do with him , I always wonder, completely flabbergasted.Kudos Pandit kid

There are quite a few sites still assossiated with King Porus and Alexander if you come to visit the banks of Jhelum and Chenab. The legacy says that he gave really tough time to Alexander but was simply outnumbered, Alexander arrested him and asked him what punishment he would like him to confer upon him and Porus replied with utmost bravery that whatever Punishment a King confers to the King who lost in a battlefield (death)...
And he got so impressed that Alexandar decided to restore his kingdom under his leadership. The famous story that even kids knows from the region. The bottom line is, Alexander had won the battle but didn't rule on the kingdom of Porus
Not sure if you can read my post...Porus or Poros was a king of the Pauravas whose territory in Ancient India spanned the region between the Hydaspes (Jhelum) and Acesines (Chenab) rivers in what is now the Punjab.
Rig Vedic Tribe . When did Pakistani taking their Pagan History seriously

Indian's again licking Pakistani testicles as usual - the Swamp Ganga's have to reach out to Pakistan region to gain any history. Or else it is composed of naked Dalits, chasing monkeys, while grabbing bananas.

I have read volumes of history of this region. I could go into very fine detail but long time ago I realized it was waste of time. So since then I just sum it up in nice bite sized capsules.Your too harsh lol
don't bother to reply your just wasting timeYea a country whose name was coined in 1933 claiming on rig vedic history....typical Pakistani
I have read volumes of history of this region. I could go into very fine detail but long time ago I realized it was waste of time. So since then I just sum it up in nice bite sized capsules.
You see in ancient times Ganga Valley was just jungle, naked Aboriginial types ( the untouchables are their undiluted residuals) running around naked with their white teeth and even whiter eye pupils. The Indus region was distinct, like it is today. It was and still is dry and extension of the Western Asia dry zone. The population was small and concentrated along the river banks as land further away turned into semi-arid desert. In the extreme north along the present day GT road axis (Peshawar-Taxila-Rawalpindi-Jhelum-Sialkot-Lahore) there was a relative wet zone which provided reasonanle agriculture. along this small kingdoms too root - one of the being Porus.
Alexander in all his time in South Asia never went into what is now India. Never. He stayed within the Indus region of present day Pakistan. Look at this map below of Alexander's route and area of conquest.
Do you see his route going into India? Not at all. Now you are left with the fact that his route and the earth he walked over is as above. What name you give it is semantics. If my father's name is Mohammed Ali I can't go around start imaging I have Ali the Boxer's pedigree. To claim otherwise is delusional.
Ask these people where are they from? Bihar, Orrisa, Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat or whatever. Those places are 1,000 miles away from these location so how in god's name can these Swamp Gangas even think they had something to do with the battle with Alexander. Just because of the name 'India'. I already clarfied that with the analogy of Mohammed Ali the boxer.
But these Swamp Ganga's are desperate for some pedigree other than jumping off trees collecting bananas so they make a grab for some legacy. They can't go for Pyramids. Instead they go for the closest to them. Indus Valley. Thus my referance to licking Pakistan';s balls..
Retard substance matters not the name. According to your logic Mohmmed Ali never existed before he coined the name Mohhamed Ali for himself at age 21. Indian Republic only was born in 1947 Mr Swamp. Shoo, go worship your holy Ganges.name was coined
But we did give you Jinnah and Iqbal. Sharifs and Bhutto's. All coming from what is current Indian land.
Most of these are from Baniya caste though might had claimed warrior castes. Iqbal might be from Brahmin ancestry but rest were Hindu baniyas though might claim Arab warrior ancestry. Lots of Indianess has flown into Pakistan, not just Indus. People on both sides have similarities. Like Jinnah and Modi might be much more similar genetically then Jinnah and you. You might be more Arab and Turkish and pashtun.
