No one exactly knows whether Al-Jazeera buys US channels or someone in the US actually owns Al-Jazeera
or may be it's owned by some "Weinstein" in US. It's too much dubious, may be @Dubious knows something about this dubious channel.

Al Jazeera buys US channel Current TV

Odd they wrote this article a month before your September article
Yeah and the article you quoted in your opening post that came out on 13 Sep and New York times article came out on 10 Sep.
This all Fake Story was started by US media and your Think Tanks. Saying they analysed Satellite pictures to guess the location of what looks to be like detention camps. The BBC did a program on it couple of weeks back using those same pictures and then Al-Jazeera writes a useless article and you claim they started it all.

That's journalism for you in these modern times, one Organisation quoting another as a source and at the end of it they have no real proof.

Did the bots start talking about Guantanamo bay yet? The whataboutery is cute.

My blind Pakistanis who believe that china can't do harm to Muslims need to read this.
My patience as a Muslim and Pakistani is getting thin on Chinese. They are criminals and thugs of worst kind.

China educating, not mistreating, Muslims: official

Updated September 14, 2018

GENEVA: China is not mistreating Muslims in Xinjiang province but is putting some people through training courses to avoid spreading of extremism, unlike Europe which had failed to deal with the problem, a Chinese official told reporters on Thursday.

Reports of mass detentions of ethnic Uighurs and other Muslims in China’s far-western region have prompted a growing international outcry, prompting the Trump administration to consider sanctions against officials and companies linked to the allegations of human rights abuses.

“It is not mistreatment,” said Li Xiaojun, director for publicity at the Bureau of Human Rights Affairs of the State Council Information Office. “What China is doing is to establish professional training centres, educational centres.

‘Religious extremists are common foes of mankind’

“If you do not say it’s the best way, maybe it’s the necessary way to deal with Islamic or religious extremism, because the West has failed in doing so, in dealing with religious extremism. Look at Belgium, look at Paris, look at some other European countries. You have failed.”

He said the Chinese education centres were not “detention centres or re-education camps”, which he dismissed as “the trademark product of eastern European countries”, an apparent reference to Soviet Gulag detention camps during the Cold War.

“To put it straight, it’s like vocational training... like your children go to vocational training schools to get better skills and better jobs after graduation.

“But these kinds of training and education centres only accept people for a short period of time; some people five days, some seven days, 10 days, one month, two months.”

Islam was a good thing in China’s view, but “Islamic extremists” were the common foes of mankind, he said. “They are very bad elements. You can see that in Afghanistan, in Syria, in Pakistan, in Iraq, and many other countries.”

Apparently, according to China, the West has been too soft on Muslims. Instead of just "talking" about distrust of Muslim intentions they should be like China and pro-actively grab people off the streets (like the Stasi) against their will and subject them to "vocational training" whether they like it or not.

The ironic and pathetic part of the Chinese propaganda machine is that a non Muslim is now going to educate a Muslim. But about what? How not to be a Muslim? Or forcing him to eat in Ramadan. Or forcing him to say bad things about Islam. Who the hell Chinese think they are?

LOL! I'm posting eastern news sources..what does the US have to do with them?
The fact this is not Eastern News, but a meaningless opinion of an U.S. citizen and U.S. based activist parotting the exact same reality detached U.S. penned fakenews you have spammed multiple threads about before, as the title, core message and main topic of his opinion,
which was internationally perpetuated by the U.S. based agency Reuters in first place,
praphrasing an U.S. citizen and U.S. based activist making these claims without providing any evidence during an UN panel, but not in the name of that UN panel or in any form of a report by the UN,
citing a report of a U.S. based and U.S. regime funded "non-government" activist frontorganisation,
which is merely a compilation citing even the U.S. based agency Reuters itself again, but mostly just articles from a U.S. regime funded and U.S. regime controlled "news" agency,
which is a subsidiary agency created and controlled by a U.S. government agency which has the official policy to report the views of the U.S. regime and aid the U.S. regimes foreign policy,
which was just posted on Al Jazeera with the explicit disclaimer

Or worse run such a successful propaganda machine on the average Pakistani to the point where they will look the other way in angry self-denial when talk of their brothers being rounded up occurs. Truly an accomplishment.

The Chinese government is Atheism on steroids with a combination of Han nationalism. This land called East Turkestan has never really belonged to Han, even before the Turkic population arrived here there were ancient Indo-European speaking people with Caucasian features not Han. Today's Uighur population are just a mix of Turkic and Caucasian people.

Back to topic, calling all of these people terrorists will back fire for both groups, the Han would win though, they have the military might and could eliminate all of Uighur if they feel like it, most of the world would not care, just look at the response regarding the Rohingyya people. There were plenty of people out there who were celebrating death of Rohinggya people so I doubt the Uighurs would get much sympathy.

State controlled Qatari propaganda. Calling it media is insult. Not a single article against Qatari royals.
Not really.
Every State outlets is "biased", But as of AJ English not that much... It's well appreciated by many renowned journalist and Media organizations...
You've got AJ+ too, good critics by serious journalist corp.

As for the Arabic version, that another subject.
