That is called consistency. There are many who hated the same trait in Congressman Dr Ron Paul too. Not surprised to hear you say this, we are a nation which loves politicians who are pathological lairs with endemic inconsistency. He, is a leader not a clown here to entertain people, if you get bored do listen to the speech being aired from London on a telephone instead.

"Roti, kapada aur makan" aur "Gareebi hatao" ke slogans bhi kafi consistent thay.

na to kisi ko roti kapda aur makan mila aur to aur gareebi hatane ki jagah se gareeb hi hata diye.

Once a politician always a politician.

Socialism never worked for Pakistan. Its time to try free market capitalism, with vital services paid for by the state only.

Unfortunately youtube doesn't work for me and Im a bit to lazy to setup the proxy server right now, but I have noticed a tendency in some Pakistani people to always ask for government's money for free in whatever they try to do, but they fail to see in democracy, it is the people who form the government first themselves. Its like their minds are still stuck in British colonial era and think of the government as a foreign body, instead of something which they create themselves.

Has he been given a chance yet? What can he do right now other than express his opinion?

Those who can do all things possible as they absolute power, dont seem to be doing anything. I would be interesting to see if you are tired of these idiots too who have no policy and no line of action!

The credibility of a man can be judged by his track record.

Non of the systems will prevail given the education status in the country. Successful system evolve themselves with the passage of time either be it Socialism or Capitalism.

Secondly if you want to make sure that pakistan has the successful democracy then you have to make sure that the right of vote is only given to the people who has completed fourteen years of education.

There is a light but that is right at the end of the tunnel :) Imran khan is the only hope :agree:

In a country like Pakistan, your suggestion will turn this state into more like a fascist dictatorship run by a % of elite instead of democracy. I, do however acknowledge that democracy in Pakistan will not yeild its worth without a high literacy rate.
