Wow did you know it's PAF that might choose him and not pml n .. Although pml n's fuk ups like choosing COAS,hijacking planes,and forcing COAS's resign are very famous .. Apart from attacking supreme courts,using police as their personal servants n appointing their favourite cops n even forcing them to divorce their wives and marrying them for a night ? Or getting their own wives beaten up by police among other "wowy" things... like massive corruption & shirty claims!

PAF may have their recommendations but it is the Government who has the final call.... Selection of the current Army Chief is proving quite good by the way.

Current Air Chief Marshal is going to retire on 18th March. VACM Shoail Gul is the senior most officer in PAF now. Any guess who is going to become PAF chief now?

Because we don't have any capable aircraft besides F-16.
and F-16's are just few to defend from any aggression..

AVM Muhammad Salman promoted as air marshal

ISLAMABAD: The government on Monday promoted Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Salman to the rank of Air Marshal. According to the PAF, Air Marshal Muhammad Salman was commissioned in the Engineering Branch of Pakistan Air Force in September 1982. He has served at various staff and command appointments during the tenure of his service. These include: Officer Commanding at Military Training Wing in PAF Academy, Risalpur, and Deputy Director (Engineering Group) at Air Headquarters. He has also served as Director Engineering Services at Air Headquarters and Officer Commanding Engineering Wing at PAF Base, Rafiqui, Managing Director Mirage Re-build Factory, Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra, and Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Aircraft Engineering) at Air Headquarters, Islamabad. Presently, he is serving as Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Engineering) at Air Headquarters, Islamabad. In recognition of his services, he has been awarded with Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military)
