Air India flight to bring Sarabjit Singh’s body back

Shameless Indians 30 Chinese soldiers are mocking your manhood, go nag them

'PAKISTAN WILL KILL ANY INDIAN SPY AND TERRORIST WHICH DARES TO COME HERE - LIVE WITH THAT'

.
Confessions on a piece of paper are mostly under duress.. confessions in front of a judge about bombing and killing 14 people are not.

It can be under made under coercion, after all he was in a foreign country and that too an enemy nation. He could have been threatened to say anything. Moreover entire case was decided on the testimony of the eyewitness who later retracted. No other proof was produced.

sarbjeet is lucky that atleast his dead body is going back to india, if it was india then then they would have buried him in a corner of jail like Afzal Goru.

I dont know what to tell you. If you want to convince yourself that an enemy nation does things like that then so be it. However these same accusation are thrown at you and you guys consider that a conspiracy or that we fancy making stuff up and that in India nothing like that happens. To each his own.

What really haunts me is how your media is making statements of his sister asking for 25 crore.. does that even sound plausible to you as a south east asian? Do you think he has the negotiating skills of an ant that he would ask for a ludicrous sum of money from a broke woman just so it gets into the media? come on man.. ask yourself what 25 crore really is.. That guy has fought tooth and nail for both our citizens in every turn. I know he makes a spectacle of his heroics on TV but thats not a good enough reason to accuse him of something like that. What would you expect him to do next time?

If you don't believe the witness who himself said that Sarabjeet was innocent given the man in question was involved in killing his father and family then i don't know what else can convince you.

If you cannot believe Sarabjeets own confession then how am I supposed to believe what anyone including you or the eye witness says.

Confession could have been made under threat or coercion but there's no reason for a person to speak in support of the killer of his father. Just read his case and see on what evidences was he charged. Give one single evidence against him apart from some random eyewitnesses. Hell he was not even arrested from the crime scene.

Ask your father, he will recommend you his lawyer frnd. Self confession has no value in civil court (If its really civil) Unless its backed by Proofs. '

Even eye witness alone are not solid evidence for conviction.

Please talk to your elders and consult some lawyer..

You somehow canot fathom a single reason for a person to speak in support of a killer yet dont understand how two families accepted a million dollars a piece to forgive raymond davis for killing their sons? But confession "standing" in front of a judge does not hold up in your eyes. We can do this all day .. You will only see what you want to see and nothing else..

Well .. my father died a few years ago .. but as luck may have it he was a lawyer back in the day.. not that I know anything about law.. I might read up on what you have said if I find time.. Not sure why he would be tried in a civil court for killing 14 people and that too being an indian spy..

Oh common man Raymond Davis case was crystal clear. BTW he was an American and US armtwisted pak to release him. not that pakistan were interested to do that even if the family of the deceased had forgiven him. It is your biased view that makes you believe that a poor man's family or for that matter even GOI will pay a large sum of blood money to an eyewitness and that too when even the case was not even re-opened and Salim retracted from his statement infront of media. You belive GOI would pay huge sum just to score brownie points over Pak govt knowing full well that this statement made by him to the media would not help in Sarabjeet's case in any way.

If their case was strong ISI would have lined up evidences against him, but none were produced apart from random eyewitnesses. Anyone can be made to speak anything by by putting a dagger up his throat.

It seems you have pretty much made up your mind . When i ask you evidences you produce none, because there ain't any evidence.

You can have your own view. but any neutral person who'll look at the case will definitely tell who is right and who's wrong.

I rest my case.

Sorry to hear that... But truth is...
1. Confession is not considered adequate proof.
2. eye Witness also are not considered adequate proof...

Due to these two reason famous Shia killer of Pakistan was acquitted few year ago, due to this reason since many year there was no conviction of terrorists in Pakistan. You need to change law to counter terrorism.

For perfect conviction all 3 needed, 1. Solid proof 2. Eye witness 3. confession (if possible).

Mr Singh case was lack of justice, and when he was about to free, Pakistani killed him (to take revange of Ajmal Kasab, Though Pakistani deny Kasa, still the love him)

No dear i hadn't made up my mind on Sarabjeet. Infact i believed what pakistanis said. But after watching that eyewitness who retracted from his statement and reading news about his case from both Pakistani and Indian media i realised how weak was the case of pakistani establishment against him.

From Wiki:

Pakistani human rights activist Ansar Burney has claimed that none of the four FIRs lodged with regard to the bombings contained Sarabjit’s name or his description and that Sarabjit had been arrested on the night of 30 August 1990 from the Kasur border for illegally crossing the Indo-Pakistani border. But after eight days the police implicated him in the terrorist bombings. He had not been arrested red handed. Burney also pointed out that the same magistrate had recorded the statements of the witnesses in all the four terror blast cases, out of which one had taken place at Faisalabad and the remaining three at Lahore, although the police cases had been lodged in four different police stations and two different districts. He said four different magistrates should have recorded the statements. None of the statements recorded in front of the magistrate were taken under oath. Sarabjit had been paraded before the witnessed in the absence of the magistrate, and the police had informed the witnesses that he was the culprit. This was also confirmed by Shaukat Salim, a key prosecution witness in the case.

You can find the same news in news.pk website.

After going through this it seems highly unlikely that Saleem was bribed given that it would not have benifited Sarabjeet's case at that point of time anyways.
