No dear i hadn't made up my mind on Sarabjeet. Infact i believed what pakistanis said. But after watching that eyewitness who retracted from his statement and reading news about his case from both Pakistani and Indian media i realised how weak was the case of pakistani establishment against him.

Pakistani human rights activist Ansar Burney has claimed that none of the four FIRs lodged with regard to the bombings contained Sarabjit’s name or his description and that Sarabjit had been arrested on the night of 30 August 1990 from the Kasur border for illegally crossing the Indo-Pakistani border. But after eight days the police implicated him in the terrorist bombings. He had not been arrested red handed. Burney also pointed out that the same magistrate had recorded the statements of the witnesses in all the four terror blast cases, out of which one had taken place at Faisalabad and the remaining three at Lahore, although the police cases had been lodged in four different police stations and two different districts. He said four different magistrates should have recorded the statements. None of the statements recorded in front of the magistrate were taken under oath. Sarabjit had been paraded before the witnessed in the absence of the magistrate, and the police had informed the witnesses that he was the culprit. This was also confirmed by Shaukat Salim, a key prosecution witness in the case.

After going through this it seems highly unlikely that Saleem was bribed given that it would not have benifited Sarabjeet's case at that point of time anyways.

Are you quoting the same guy who sarbjeets sister says was asking for 25 crore? You could have answered if she was telling the truth or not.. You conveniently removed how your media plays a role in your politics. Its not for me and my soul to judge him. He was judged and found guilty. If you find faults in his defense then thats a problem that could have been rectified if new evidence had come to light in 22 years. I just do not understand how his confession in front of a judge is not evidence enough. I really do not know how to explain myself after that as a fact when you can call foul to everything even his own tongue.. I dont think even his getting caught red handed would have helped.

Are you quoting the same guy who sarbjeets sister says was asking for 25 crore? You could have answered if she was telling the truth or not.. Oh dear now the only proof that is left against him is only the confession he made against himself which is not a proof in itself as self incrimination cannot be the basis for jurisdiction. His letter to the PM of India :

'मैं सरबजीत सिंह( I sarabjeet singh), भारतीय कैदी पाकिस्तान की जेल में रिहाई के लिए बाट जोह रहा हूं। जब सारी दुनिया के सामने यह साफ हो गया है कि मैं निर्दोष हूं( Iam innocent), उसके बाद भी मुझे पाकिस्तानी हुकूमत रिहा क्यों नहीं कर रही है। कृपा करके आप पाकिस्तान की हुकूमत के साथ-साथ विश्व स्तर पर मेरा मामला उठाएं। यह मामला यूएनओ को दें ताकि मेरी रिहाई जल्द हो सके। मैं आपका और हर देशवासी का कर्जदार हूं, जिन्होंने अब तक मेरी इतनी मदद की है। आपकी बड़ी कृपा होगी।'

Letter written to his sister. English translation:

"I am handing over this letter to some unknown person who will definitely post this letter to India. I have already written number of letters, which are still with me as it is difficult for me to find out the via media to send my letters out of the Kotlahpath Rai jail due to the tight security system. Today this letter I am handing over to the unknown wise man and I am sure he would post my letter to India and it would surely reach to you", Sarabjit written in his letter to Dalbir Kaur.
Sarabjit in his letter claimed, he had been unlawfully framed in fake bomb blasts cases inspite of the facts he had nothing to do with all the allegations imposed on me by the Pakistan police.
"I never given any confessional statements to any of the investigating agency of Pakistan with regard to allegations imposed by the Pakistani police. Even Pakistani police has mentioned my wrong name as Manjit Singh even my fake thumb impression was managed on the name of Manjit Singh", stated in the letter.
"Here I request my sister to come forward to apprise the Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf about my innocence as how Pakistan police has slapped fake cases on me on the name of Manjit Singh. As everybody in India knows my real name is Sarabjit Singh but Pakistan police was not willing to listen me when I was arrested by them in 1990", Sarabjit stated in letter.
Letter further says, "The statement I have given to the Pakistani police immediate after my arrest in 1990 as I am Indian and crossed over to Pakistan inadvertently in the influence of liquor was never produced in te court of law. Now I request to you (sister Dalbir Kaur) to do the needful to apprise the Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf with the reality that Pakistani police unlawfully and wrongly made my involvement in fake cases.However, Pakistan police has so far alleged in the court of law that all 14 people were killed in the four bomb blasts allegedly carried out by the Indian national Manjit Singh as he was an Indian spy and entered Pakistan through the Punjab border to disturb the peace and tranquility of the Pakistan".
