Is Iran going to declare itself a nuclear power or to detonate a bomb ?

TEHRAN - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Saturday the Islamic Republic would soon announce "very important" achievements in the nuclear field, state TV reported.

He was speaking on the 33rd anniversary of the Islamic revolution. Tens of thousands of Iranians joined state-organized rallies across the country to mark the occasion.

Demonstrators carrying Iranian flags and pictures of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei chanted "Death to Israel" and "Death to America."

"In the coming days the world will witness Iran's announcement of its very important and very major nuclear achievements," Ahmadinejad told a crowd at Tehran's Azadi (Freedom) Square in a speech relayed live on state television.

He gave no details.

It is up to the Iranian leadership to decide going for nukes or going for other nuclear developments/capabilities. We Iranians support our country,government

Why they will bluff ? They are trying to acquire it for years . I think they will declare it after detonate & it will act as a deterrent . Westerns will strongly condemn Iran for some days & at last they will habituate to live with a Nuclear Iran as it was happened to India & Pakistan .

well ,what I wonder is that for several years the total
number of Iran Centrifuges didn't increased also iran in
this years claimed to work on 3th and 4th generation
of it's centrifuges but all we saw was 1st generation in
Natanz and 2nd generation in Fordu .
what's interesting is that nowhere there is any report
that Iran stopped producing new centrifuges .
also when Iranian authorities announced Fordu also they
Said that they are going to made 10 more enrichment facility
like it


so these made me wonder if Suddenly Iran announce 1
or 2 more Fordu Style enrichment facilities with those new
types of centrifuges ?

Nuclearization of Middle East is very dangerous. Arabs and Persians don't mix with each other.

Problem is that if Iran builds the bomb, this can renew nuclear arms race in the world.

All global de-nuclearization efforts will absolutely FAIL. The entire world should be rid of nuclear weapons.

Guys, How do you know what the achievement he's talking about is? Maybe he's talking about nuclear rods for the Tehran Research nuclear Reactor (TRR)?
