Agni IV and V to be inducted in two years

Agni III Range is 3500 KM with 2490 KG pay load, 5500 KM with 1500 KG payload and over 11000 KM with single TN device weighing 300-500 KG

Agni V Range is 5000 KM with 3000 KG pay load, 10000 KM with 1500 KG payload and over 15000 KM with single TN device weighing 300-500 KG

Agni IV has an ICBM range with 700 KG payload.

The actual range of Agni IV is 7000 KMs with 1500 Kg and Agni V is 12000 KMs with 1500 KG Payload.

Bhaiyaji, aapke itney saare claim ka koi source bhi hai , yaa ye aapki fanboyzzship hai??

I have read 5500km with 1200kg payload for Agni-III in bharat-rakshak but not for any others.

Source. Started with 5000, then 5500, then 6000 then 6500 then 7000, then 7000+... Chinese already think 8000.. so wait more and it will reach there also..:victory:

Agni-IV will be deployed for use only against China.

I am looking forward for Agni-IV induction , as it can be produced in Agni-II's production facility even though in 2011 it was announced to setup a new production facility for Agni-IV which means over 24 missiles can be produced annually if required.

Dude Agni -III has a range of 5000+km with 1200kg payload. And it was also announced sometime between 2007-2009 that DRDO has developed and patented technology which can increase the range of its missile by 40%.

And moreover Agni-V is a new missile with advanced technology and components. Why would DRDO produced two missiles with same range. If you go by logic, Agni -IV with 17 ton weight can carry 1000kg payload to distance of 4000km. So Agni-V unlike Agni-III, built on Agni-IV technology with 50 ton weight should be able to carry 1200kg-1500kg payload to distance of 8000km.

Agni III'S range is 4500 KM with 2490 KG warhead and over 11000 KM with a single TN device.

Pl check wiki. Agni III range is 4500 KM with 2490 KG payload. So it should be much more for 1200 KG payload. Than check payload Vs range graph you will get an Idea.

Actual I have a Russian picture, in which range of all Indian missile are mentioned with payload. But I do not know how to post it. It is a JPG file.

You can get all this information from a youtube video "Agni III ICBM" part 1 and 2.

Look at the velocity of Agni V. In reentry phase, it is more than 24 Mach (8 KM/S). It is an Indication of a very long range ICBM certainly above 10,000 KM.

Agni IV has travel 4000 KM with 1500 KG load in its last test. It traveled at a height of over 800 KM which is again an indication of much greater range than what it is tested for.
