It was suspected the range could be around 8000 Km, are going to increase more???
Yes it could be around 8000-10000km
Previous figure was just a ploy as we weren't a part of MTCR then
In realty all we need is sub 5000 range stuff though, right now we don't have any geopolitical threats beyond that. Maybe good for posturing.

Not today, is there any harm to develop such range missiles? I believe even Pakistan has to develop such missiles.
Not long ago, in 1971 (50 years)... they sent naval ships against us.... There is no such guarantee that after 50 years, they will not repeat the same.
We are fighting to protect our lands and it is better to give them for free. approximately 5,300 km2

Agni 3 is a great reference
The NOTAM was issued much before the incident. But since the incident is lineing up with it so well, the media will use it.
More like the missile regiments in Secunderabad should be able to hit targets with a conventional payload into the farthest points.

hmm..
I read that some in Myanmar saw it too and were frightened thinking it was the Junta's jet coming to bomb them, that's pretty sad to live in your country in fear of getting bombed by your government.
8000-10000km
some say it could be upto 12000km but there's no official confirmation on such a figure as that'll lead to diplomatic issues.
