After Gujarat, Patriot Bahkts are planning to build Modi temple in Allahabad

Uttar Pradesh may bag the champion’s trophy for having the most blatant political sycophants.

Although Prime Minister Narendra Modi has apparently discouraged any temple or statue in his name, a second temple is coming up in the state.

One Pushpraj Singh, a self-appointed president of the Sri Kishna Sena, laid the foundation stone of Modi’s temple in Jalalpur area of Allahabad district on Saturday. A two-hour long ritual was conducted there.

Singh declared that the temple would be constructed in five months.

“We have decided to collect Rs 1.50 crore from several Hindu organizations, including BJP, VHP and Bajrang Dal, to build this temple in which there would be idols of Lord Krishna and Modi,” said Singh.

They have hired one Kamta Prasad, an architect-cum-mason of Amethi, to prepare a layout of the temple and construct it.

“Sandstone of Mirzapur would be used in construction of this temple. We will also use marble in it,” said Prasad.

But there is a twist in the tale. The villagers have said that Singh wanted to grab some gram sabha land and so planned a temple there in the name of Modi.

“He is a land grabber who has his eyes on the gram sabha land. Since he is also associated with the Hindutva group, he wants to construct a temple of Modi in parts of the land and keep the rest for his personal use,” said a villager.

But Singh claimed the land belonged to him only.

Brijendra Narayan Misha (55), a VHP leader of Bhagwanpur under Chael tehsil in Kaushambi district, has already built a NaMo NaMo temple in his village.

A similar temple under construction in Gujarat’s Rajkot was razed after Modi expressed his displeasure.

Well accept it or not but religion is one of the primary identity of a person as it helps to mould the character of a person since his/her childhood.Most of the traditions that our society follows to this day(i am talking about India only) can trace their origin to the anicent traditions of Dharma.Hence religion plays a crucial part in our daily lives and without the existence of Sanatan Dharma our lives will thoroughly changed and that will give rise to large scale anarchy in this country.

Why does it matter if Dalit is a political term or Dharmic caste. It is one the biggest examples of religion kept a huge chunk of population away from any development. And I did corrected myself, I meant lower castes, may be I misused the term Dalit. Why does it matter? Does my misusing the term indicates that more than 50% of the population didn't find itself being exploited or held back over the centuries? Is it my misconstruction that they are discriminated against? Why hang up on examples - and they were not allowed in temples, happens at places till date.

Indian literacy, Bihar gave a good example! Compare the impact factor of Indian journals with western ones. Hell, the result speak for themselves. How much of science and tech actually comes out of India? What big research have Indians done?

No amount of whitewashing would hide the fact that Indians didn't promote scientific thinking, technology or military development. You might prefer spiritual enlightenment, I want my country to be strong enough that foreign powers don't simply walk over it.

Nope. It is not. First thing - Dalit is a modern political term and used to empower that social group. They have had the fastest and highest mobilization than all other social groups in India. With a total population of 16%, do you think any political party has the nerve to ignore this segment of our population, especially given our vote bank politics?

Second - the other backward castes were neither exploited nor held back over the centuries, at least no more or less than any other class of people in colonial India. All India poverty was 95% at the time the British left. Are you going to tell me that Indian upper caste population is only 5% and only they missed out on the exploitation that others did not? Even that 5% above poverty line population was not rich by world standard. So where do you get off this communist spread malicious argument that upper castes were exploiting lower castes and hence India was held back. India paid up for the war expenses of Britain. It paid up for the empire building exercise of Britain. That is where the exploitation came from. That is where the poverty came from.

They were allowed in all temples except in some places. Every village has gods, every home has gods, including Dalit homes and Dalit villages.

Indian literacy - so you can only see Bihar? I see Indians as top CEOs of world class companies all over the West. I see India has managed to produce world class companies and should Indian currency shed its artificially imposed low value against the dollar, their valuations would be amongst the highest in the world. Literally thousands of them.

Now hold your horses as far as foreign journals go. We are still in a Western dominated system where in they institute these journals, decide on what is worthy, selectively quote each other, and keep out other competing systems. Going forward you will see much more research and publications coming out of India.

If Indians did not promote scientific thinking, technology, or military development, why is that every parent in India is pushing his kids towards science stream? Why are the Westerners taking up increasingly law and humanities as subjects to graduate in while Indians along with Chinese fill up their scientific degree courses. Why are the research streams in West peppered with Indians?

Why is India being counted as one of the top military powers in the world if Indians have been deficient in attention towards their military?

You know what, it was people like you who were at the helm of affairs who lacked spirituality and had utter contempt of India and Indian systems who held back the development of India through their reliance of foreign ideologies of communism and socialism and minorityism. It was not the Hindus who did that. It was spiritual Hindus who lifted the country out of its quagmire it found itself in because of hedonist people like you.
