What's new

After Gujarat, Patriot Bahkts are planning to build Modi temple in Allahabad

Oh don't worry, for you there is also eat like a pig, do drugs, drink alcohol, etc.

Pleasure your 5 senses all the time till you die. What else is happiness ? :azn:

I thought we were talking about throughout the centuries. Where the religion hampered the growth of science. Made the country militarily weak, socially ill. Till now we can see the effects. Now if you can justify how more than half the country being 'Dalit' is the sign of spiritual progression...

You are denying your own arguments now. You jumped in defense of West when Prajapati said West developed by leeching off other countries. You claimed virtue in leeching if that provides a life of luxury. So as Prajapati said, you could continue leeching, raping, pigging, drugging since as far as your 5 senses are pleasured and you are surrounded by luxury, you do not see the evil in it.

Religion never hampered growth of science in India. It was invasions and battle to survive, which made science take a backseat. I do not recall any Hindu scientist being sent to the gallows by any Hindu Pope. So what are you blabbering about?

Dalits are 16% of Indian population and not 50% of the population as you claim, and the term Dalit is a political appellation and not part of any scriptures for you to jump on Hindu orthodoxy for it. Dalits also happen to be staunchly Hindu. I do not see any barriers to Dalits's spiritual progression, or are you saying that one has to be born as Brahmin to get spiritually progress? That is funny if that is what you are claiming, because never heard any Hindu religious authority ever claim it.

.
Their country, their rules.
However, I am quite astonished to see them building Mr.Modi's temple.I knew that Mr.Modi is popular, but I wasn't expecting that some mindsets will be building up his temple.
One more question, didn't intended any offense, but a temple is a place of worship & praise to god holy.If I even think as Hindu, not as Muslim I am still unable to sketch my activity in there. My confusion may sound stupid, but my intentions are genuine.
Mr.Modi is alive,so why do they need to built up a temple of him?
To be very honest,it is quite disappointing for me to understand politico-religious fusion in Indian politics.
Regards

good for us

by the way , ap kahan gayab hain Sir , ap tu patrol ki tarah gayab ho gaye market se hahaha

Leeching money is different from raping or drugging or so on. They were strong, India was weak. They took the money. That is how the world works. Indians were too busy correcting their spiritual life that foreigners did as please. Not like it did any good. Regardless, morality has ambiguous definition. Truth is that westerners have build an excellent society.

I remember reading about how Ramanujan initially declined to go west, cause his religion forbid it. It is true that Hindus didn't punish any scientist, but that is cause there was no major discovery for at least past 1000 years. The learned caste - Brahmins - were too busy preaching religion to find time for some maths or physics. Don't blame it all on invasions, south at least was quite insulated from invasions for a long time to come.

My mistake, I meant lower castes. OBC, SC and ST. How are they supposed to have any enlightenment when they can't even go to a temple?
To be less subtle, I was pointing out corruptness of the society, if it all you consider untouchability and the likes to be social ill.

Oh they did plenty of raping and drugging too. Ask China, Latin America, Africa, if you do not believe. They were strong, India was weak, so they took money? Bravo...are you by any chance planning on robbing the poor in your area. Please do not come back to India. We do not want more corrupt people here to add on to what we have already.

Truth is Westerners have built a society that is already imploding under debt and paper currency. Truth is if it was not for petrodollars and the 13 ACC, West would be a beggarly society.

Oh you mean Hindus were punishing scientists before 1000 years ago? Also Hindus were a naval power trading with Middle East and SE Asia all the way up to Korea and Japan. How did you come to the conclusion that Hinduism forbade overseas travel? Could it be that belief was confined to some regions, especially after the sea piracy increased? Something you are happily attributing to Hinduism?

The learned caste Brahmins were doing great maths even in the last 1000 years. That is where the Kerala school of mathematics comes in. Have you read about them?

Since half the country is not 'Dalit" your point is irrelevant and a lie.

Since there is no evidence that religion hampered the growth of science, this point is also a logical fallacy. In fact, most scientific advancement had religious leaders supporting it.

Since there is no evidence that religion made the country militarily weak and socially ill, this is also a logical fallacy.

You have no point, except lies and irrelevant points that pretends to be an argument.

Who says that they cannot go to temples? I have yet to be to a temple where lower castes of any denomination are denied entry. I do not know which society you come from, because it certainly does not describe the society I live in and I have traveled quite a bit. Hope you would stop taking your cues about India and its society from colonial authors and books.

Thanks for enlightening me. Lower castes aren't discriminated against. India is heaven, spiritual and may be even worldly. Hinduism promoted science and tech, making India one of the highest literate countries. There are no social/moral ills in India.
Anything else that I missed out on?

Let them build Modi temples and they will busy rather than taking part in anti-Muslim riots.

If you would stop hyperventilating. First you come with gross generalization that 50% of India's population is Dalit, then you miscorrect it to say that they are not allowed into temples. When I point out this is a lie, you come back with more rubbish. It is as if you wont be able to digest your food if you did not believe India is a stink hole.

Literacy is not 100% but when has literacy meant education or even wisdom. India has almost 80% literacy now. By the way most Western countries though technically literate have more than 50% of their population which can be considered functionally illiterate.

India is mostly a heaven, except in some parts where it is not. It is both spiritual and worldly. It is the largest functioning democracy in the world where 17.5% of Earth's human population live on 2% of Earth's landmass in relative peace and harmony. Now would that be possible if it was not both spiritual and worldly? Hinduism promoted science and tech which is why most of our scientists are highly religious people too. We are doing quite well as far as science and technology goes being counted among the top 4 countries in literally all spheres of technology. Do not know if you were living under a rock all this while to miss all the developments or willfully hateful of India.

Sure there are some social ills, which were brought on by your raping, pillaging, leeching West. We are correcting it, do not be so impatient. Just do not come back to India.

Are they going to kill 1000 Muslim first then build the temple like they did in Gujarat, or this time build the temple first?

First of all the term "Dalit" is purely a political term. There isn't a caste called Dalit in the Dharmic caste system in the first place. But i do agree the caste system is the main reason why our countrydidn't become united and remained a backwater for centuries.Thankfully, the Dharmic followers are slowly but surely realizing the ill effects of casteism and are increasingly renouncing them.Hopefully this evil system will totally disappear from our religion within the next 5 decades.Let me give you an example of how the Dharmic followers are renouncing casteism.I come from an orthodox Brahmin family but ever since i realized the evils of casteism i renounced all forms of casteism and tore away my holy thread in front of my parents who were furious at that time watching this "unholy" act and even threatened to throw me out of the house and disown me but i managed to opened their eyes by convincing them of all the ill efects attached to casteism. Now i proudly proclaim myself to be a true Dharmic follower in front of my friends and family and i have managed to convince a lot of my so called "higher caste" friends to renounce all forms of casteism.

A slow, lengthy process. Besides, it was just an example. How west continued to develop, and Indians kept struggling within such social system.

Why does it matter if Dalit is a political term or Dharmic caste. It is one the biggest examples of religion kept a huge chunk of population away from any development. And I did corrected myself, I meant lower castes, may be I misused the term Dalit. Why does it matter? Does my misusing the term indicates that more than 50% of the population didn't find itself being exploited or held back over the centuries? Is it my misconstruction that they are discriminated against? Why hang up on examples - and they were not allowed in temples, happens at places till date.

Indian literacy, Bihar gave a good example! Compare the impact factor of Indian journals with western ones. Hell, the result speak for themselves. How much of science and tech actually comes out of India? What big research have Indians done?

No amount of whitewashing would hide the fact that Indians didn't promote scientific thinking, technology or military development. You might prefer spiritual enlightenment, I want my country to be strong enough that foreign powers don't simply walk over it.

No doubt it's going to be a lengthy process but if we are going to survive as a religion and prosper in the future then we have to eradicate this evil practice or else Sanatan Dharma as we know it will cease to exist as a religion in the near future on this planet:coffee:

For me religion is secondary. As a Jain, I can't follow it to the principals anyway!
