It is only working because of the peace.
Sorry, but its not because of peace, though that has contributed. Its because of the electrified Fence, all kinds of surveillance radars being put up on the LoC to monitor any intrusion, unmanned ground sensors,much better equipment given to soldiers and a bigger deployement there.
Its no longer the nineties when India did not even know that this was being done through the border. India has really really tightened security there. That is the reason terrorists are now increasingly using Nepal and BD to infiltrate in India. As more and more time progresses, the fencing will be complete among numerous other things.
Even if Pakistan wants now, it cannot make things like they were in the nineties. At best there will be a moderate increase in the infiltration, thats about it.
