Afghanistan summons Pak ambassador after 8 policemen martyred in heavy shelling
By MIRWAIS ADEEL - Tue Aug 18 2015, 10:44 pm

The Pakistani ambassador in Kabul was summoned in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan (MoFA) following indiscriminate shelling by the Pakistani forces which left eight members of the Afghan Border Police Forces martyred.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said a strong protest was lodged with the Pakistani ambassador Syed Abrar Hussain after he was summoned this evening.

Deputy Foreign Minister in Administrative Affairs Atiqullah Atifmal told Mr. Hussain that eight members of the Afghan Border Police forces were martyred in heavy shelling on check posts in eastern Kunar province on Monday morning and afternoon.

Atifmal further added that the market of Do Kalam was also torched and enormous financial loss was incurred to the local residents in Nari district as a result of the indiscriminate shelling by the Pakistani forces.

He told the Pakistani envoy “This is not the first time you have been summoned regarding the heavy artillery shelling by the Pakistani military on areas along the Durand Line. But unfortunately we have not seen any long term change in Pakistani military’s offensive acts.”

Atifmal warned that the relations between the two countries would be marred if the Pakistani military continues to violate the principles of international relations and the principles of good neighborliness.

He insisted that the government of Afghanistan emphasizes on the security and lives of the Afghan people as its standard of relations with Pakistan and urged Pakistan to consider the standard in a bid to maintain relations between the two countries.
good job **** these afghani bastards.

Being too close for too long with major powers has its influences....first Pakistan was close with US who is a bully now it is very close China who is another bully...So Pakistan thinks it can bully around like major powers....May it might take some time to realize what Pakistan's position is in this region and overall...
Every other Nation which had been through Active Geopolitical scenario has been through that. Even in today's World countries like Japan and Germany are doing same so as India(with Soviets now with Americans) so it is not just Pakistan which have been that way its Global Phenomenon of all those Regions with Active Geopolitics.

Best case scenario for Pakistan right now would be to convince NATO to re-enter Afghanistan and secure it once and for all.

PA can work in tandem with NATO and fully secure the border. Do a massive coordinated push from both sides to kill off militancy.

ANA are not capable of this and thanks to NDS are confused about forming this kind of relationship with PA. So f**k them.

Foreign office should be working overtime now building a case for ground deployment of NATO troops, around 50,000 to Afghanistan and air strikes to target Kunar and Nuristan. PA can finish up by taking the last valley and fortifying the border.

This can all be over within 2 years. At the way it is going now this is going drag on for decades.

Indo-Pak border, its a mutual deal, if India stops violating the ceasefire, we will happily divert troops and ammunition to the western front.

I'm sure you know that India says, if Pakistan stops violating the ceasefire...

Pretty sure India will just keep on violating the ceasefire unilaterally. I doubt Bangladesh ever fires back but there's a couple of dozen casualties on that border too.

Really? Whereas Pakistan would never, ever violate the ceasefire that is oh-so-sacred to them?

India always blames Pakistan for ceasefire violations, and claim that they (Indians) only fired in retaliation. Pakistan always claims the contrary. That much is a verifiable fact.

Are you saying that only India ever violates the ceasefire? I would expect that sort of jingoistic self belief from most people, but not from smarter people like you.

The casualties on the Indo-Bangladesh border are an entirely different matter, it's not a\the result of any military conflict. It's from border guards firing at smugglers, illegal immigrants etc. Some of those killings are indeed unjustified, but that's a completely different scenario.

I never said that, now you're assuming things.

Exactly, which is why a mechanism for determining who fired the first volley is important.

Are you saying that only India ever violates the ceasefire? I would expect that sort of jingoistic self belief from most people, but not from smarter people like you.

Once again, you are now assuming things, I never made any such comment in fact I have stated various times that these clashes can break out over something as petty as a wrong decision during a cricket match. It's all fun and games until civilians start to die, that's where a line has to be drawn.
That being said, the frequency of the ceasefire violations and the length of area they have expended to in this recent spate of violence does not suit Pakistan at all. We have nothing to gain out of exchanging few dozen mortars with Indians when we are already dispensing tonnes of munitions everyday against the Taliban in the west.
If anything, these violations serve to distract Pakistan from the western front, something that Pakistan would obviously not want. Couple that with the fact that Pakistan has allowed UNMILOBs to observe its side of the border and it becomes clear who wants to put a stop to this violence as a priority.

The casualties on the Indo-Bangladesh border are an entirely different matter, it's not a\the result of any military conflict. It's from border guards firing at smugglers, illegal immigrants etc. Some of those killings are indeed unjustified, but that's a completely different scenario.

I was merely making an analogy in response to your post, peaceful borders are easy to dream but difficult to maintain.

Yeah, unfortunately the influence that Pakistan had with these super powers was far greater than others....Pakistan gave everything to them....compared to others.....
Not entirely but Pakistan did played their Part when it serves its National Interests only otherwise we have seen their Relationship has came down to the point that Pakistan being Sanctioned by them in the past as well so its all about National Interests rather then being Hired to do the Job.

1- Talking in language other than English is against forum rules
2- The language you have used in Pashto , would straight forward give you infraction if translated

@WebMaster, @Horus, @Jungibaaz @waz, @Irfan Baloch take notice of this. If You people have doubts, i or some other Pashto speaker can translate his pashto lines

You're a special kind of stupid.

Afghanistan is our brother Islamic country. This exchange of aggression is because of the presence of the Americans.

Oh please get over this brother Islamic country, its a country which is hostile towards us and colluding with our enemies. They should be kicked in their nuts, which by the way dont have.

That's if you guys want to land yourselves in a pile of shit! You can't even look after Balochistan and you want to take over Afghanistan, a cauldron of chaos? :woot: Jeeez!

.

We are in shit because of shitty neighbors like Bharat, No one is interested in taking over that piece of crap country known as Afghanistan. But as I said in the past since Bhartis are so concerned about Afghans, we should deport all the afghans to India and let them enjoy the bharti hospitality.

Just reading this thread I realize what a bunch of bullies Pakistanis are. Thank heavens that India is adequately armed against Pakistan.
HAHAHA, the bully calling others bully, yeah sure sure.

.
Well you sure about this?
How many of us use the language that Korokoram is using here?. Rudeness, trolling and harsh words is one thing but resorting to "Khar-kus bachiya" and "Pa sta khor key kedam" is extreme and low............in my opinion strict action should also be taken against provoker no matter what is the excuse, even if his excuse is patriotism. On most of the forums, flame baiters are also banned. But here it is "party" for flame baiters, in this thread they are even inviting others to fest.
