I feel very sad so total 7 of our soldiers died.many injured.how many afghan soldiers died? Only one and we initiated ceasefire and collected bodies of our soldiers.i am so angry over this brotherhood.i feel like we sell our sovereignty,our dignity,our pride.i feel sad for the soldiers.they weren't prepared to face such a fierce attack but counter attack is not impressive.there are problems when it comes to quick deployment.there is no will to attack afghanistan.this kind of attacks will continue.there is a lack of will.this is not Islamic republic of Pakistan.

We should be thankful for smunshipall mercies, saner minds exists in GoP and PA. Making more enemies will not increase our security and will increase the number of people willing to attack PK. KHOST, Afghanistan — Afghan tribesmen on Monday returned a Pakistani soldier they captured in a deadly skirmish along the countries' border, as well as the bodies of five soldiers, the governor of Afghanistan's Khost province said.

The soldier and the bodies were handed to Pakistani troops, said Khost governor Hukum Khan Habibi.

The dispute arose over Pakistan's work on a fence intended to span nearly all of the disputed 2,500-km (1,550-mile) border, much of it mountainous and porous. Afghan officials have alleged that Pakistani troops crossed onto Afghanistan soil, prompting firing on Sunday by border forces and the local tribal force.

The two sides later agreed on a ceasefire.

Border skirmishes in the area are common, although detention of a foreign soldier is rare. Each national government alleges that the other allows sheltering of Taliban militants who stage cross-border attacks.

The tribesmen handle security in their Zazi Maidan district of Khost.

The Pakistani military has previously said that two of its soldiers were killed. An Afghan army commander has said two tribesmen were killed in the skirmish.

A spokesman for the Pakistani military could not be immediately reached.

If this country had any sense this would be on media, pages, newspapers every where to showcase how amazing our brothers are. West of Durand line. They are insane. They hate us with madness they hate us. A fence is not enough. We need more security. More forts. More men.

Its time to end restraints. This is the act of an enemy that is bred on hatred.

True the response needs to be thought out to prevent giving the enemy a propaganda victory. But Pakistanis must be absolutely certain internally that Kabul is a foe. Make no mistake about this. Pakistanis must realise that Afghans staying in Pakistan is a existential demographic threat to Pakistan. Pakistanis must realise that employing them in their business is a threat. Pakistanis must realise that marrying into them is a threat for the overall well being of the nation.

Fence and weapons to protect that fence.

Not just fence, but repatriation of Afghans from Pakistan, including those who have acquired Pakistan citizen ship illegally.

Was reading up on this. They said they would only return the Pashtun Pakistani soldier and deal with Punjabi Pakistani soldiers. I guess they are dealt with now.

If that's true then every Afghan must be driven out of Punjab and thrown into Afghanistan.
