Wonder how that would have panned out...pakistan would have had a much better and bigger jihadi force in their hands to wreak havoc in their neighborhood. ..

They gave their best shot recently under nawz...wanted desperately to talk to the ttp and were even eager to give in to their demands.

But it failed..which is as much the destiny lying in wait in trying to get the afghan version of ttp to get into some sort of legal kabul government.

Well there is no doubt nawaz wanted to talk. And this is how people do first you first talk you dont go nuclear on people. But TTP as we know are not humans. They are now being killed like pigs on daily basis .

Do you really think the taliban represent the pushtun population?..It's like them being held hostage under them like they were in waziristhan under ttp...obey or get killed. The reason why south Afghanistan isn't a good place to live and the reason why the afghans are fleeing everywhere is because of the taliban.

The fact is the taliban want much more than just pushtun representation. .it's easy to figure out what they want.

This is the only viable solution for long term stability of Afghanistan. Regardless of what Pakistan thinks, the Afghan Taliban command solid support among Afghan Pashtoons who just happen to be the Majority.

Their rule in taliban infested areas is similar to how the ttp held sway in swat and waziristan...why do you believe both are different? Other than for holding a bias.

Talibans did no good to anyone including Afghans except perhaps giving Pakistan the comforts of strageic depth but even Pakistan had to pay a big price for aligning with the rogues. Now it wont be possible for talibans to conquer Kabul except by democratic means and thats the only choice they have.

We are talking about taliban controlled territory of afghanistan and Google didn't come up with anything. ..its as if taliban territory of afghanistan is a black hole.

Please find any positive development, growth or well being news from taliban territory that happened in the last 10-12 years...because I couldn't. .For all event and purposes..taliban territory is a captive region under a medieval cult that shoots if one does not obey..and no one has developed there..women are back into the house and remain uneducated. .and feudal and taliban courts rule and enforce the law...no Schools, no hospitals, no doctors, no polio drops and no freedom.

America's founding fathers were also rebels, so was Nelson Mandela. Afghanistan needs peace above all. Taliban are Afghans and command undeniable pubic support. They have to be reintegrated into the sociopolitical fray.

Pakistan is a regional power, it follows its interests like other nations do. Karzai didn't cooperate, he came to Pakistan 21 times but to no avail, Dr Ghani has achieved more in a few months with Pakistan than Karzai's entire tenure.

Completely agree. Pak should show how it is done by listening to grievances of TTP.
