Afghanistan in 2015: problem for Iran?

we have to support our afghan brothers to get back on their feet

Iran has already been supporting them since the 1980s. After the Taliban fell in 2001, Iranian support for Afghanistan was massively increased. Iran has helped to rebuild the infrastructure and economy of Herat which has made Herat now one of the most stable parts of Afghanistan, but instead of being grateful to Iran for the help and investment there are regular demonstrations outside of the Iranian consulate in Herat by Afghans blaming Iran for all kinds of nonsense problems that are of their own making. In Kabul too there have also been many large rallies outside of the Iranian embassy with Iranian flags being burnt etc These attitudes are not unusual in Afghanistan even though Iran has been investing in Afghanistan's reconstruction for over 10 years.

So why exactly should Iran continue to support these people when they dont even want to support themselves? They are ready to kill and destroy their country a second time. Former Afghan warlords like Ismail Khan of Herat have already threatened to start rearming their factions if a deal is cut with the Taliban or in case of another Presidential electoral fraud.

Nobody can help these people until they have settled their scores once and for all and start to help themselves.

These are just a small few examples of what Iran is dealing with and why Afghanistan is a waste of time until they have learnt to help themselves and show appreciation and good will when other countries have helped them:

Afghan shias can easily be bought out, and that's the only option. Afghanistan is doomed to fail and fall back into civil war sooner or later. Americans can be there for a thousands years, the pashtuns will still be pashtuns. Their pashtuns are bat shit fucked up crazy and the Pakistanis are willing to destroy their country by supporting them. The saudis don't have to try very hard. Pakistan and the bat shit crazy part of the Afghan population can be bought out in an instant as they're already radicalized.

Afghan shias, even though they are actual humans and not wild beasts like their cousins in Southern AFG, are still pretty radical. If we were able to create a mighty proxy in Lebanon, we can create an even bigger proxy in Afghanistan (no language barrier, historical and religious ties can be used to brainwash the shia population, transportation of goods and services will cost very little, lack of a central government can be used for our advantage, creating division among different tribes could not be easier...).

I love your transparency Abii and your lack of taqyyia. I seriously do. Thank you for speaking your mind which is not the only mind in Iran that contains the same ideas!

Peace.

We can, definitely, but since they are no Arabs, our government wouldn't do it. They like to give free money to Palestinians and Lebanese, while completely forget about our Eastern borders and brothers.
why do you open your mouth when you know nothing ? do you know anything about shia mojahedins in afghanistan? they're a version of hezbollah. also in iraq their name is jaish al mokhtar. we know what we're doing in our borders. you better follow more news about west asia. it's 3 years since iran gave up helping palestinians.

Let Afghanistan and Tajikistan to join Iran, since they are all Iranians anyway.
No they're not.

Most Afghans are Pashtuns and Turko-Mongols that have nothing to do with Iranians.

Iranians dont want to absorb millions of Pashtuns and Hazara's into Iran. They want Afghans in Iran to return to their own country and learn how to stay and live there in peace.

Only on some internet forums have i ever come across this nonsense that 'Afghans are Iranian' or whatever. In the real World i dont know a single other Iranian who would accept Afghans to be the same as us.

I think some people who come to internet forums are just fixated on an enlarged Iran, without paying any attention to the fact that Afghan society and culture is completely different from Iran and wholly incompatible.

One of my friends spent a year working in Dushanbe and while she has no issue with Tajiks, she absolutely hated it there. Their contemporary culture and society is not similar to Iran at all, despite sharing a common historical culture. The same is even more true for Afghanistan. Another friend spent a couple of years in Mazar-e Sharif, and is now in Kabul. I hear from them what living and working in Afghanistan is actually like.

Iranians want good relations with Tajikistan and Afghanistan, but we could never be the same country. We're too different, especially with Pashtuns who have nothing culturally in common with Iranians.
