That's why not so religious people of Pakistan, it's christians, Sikh, Athiest population are against India
It's not a Hindu, Muslim thing as some might suggest (although it's part of it)
It's much deeper than that, it's our survival as a people group and if we want to maintain our lifestyle, culture
People may claim otherwise but I have interected with enough indians to realize hate is deep rooted for our nation - it's like we are the direct sons of satans or some thing
Whatever hate is there, it is for Pak establishment as it initiated several wars and planned several terrorist attacks on India.
Indians, in general, do not hate common Pakistani citizens.
Any residual hate due to ignorance goes once they interact with Pakistanis face-to-face.
Both during my studies and work, I have met Pakistanis and I can say I had more common ground with them than the westerners (due to shared language and culture)
Problem for india is that it is too weak, backward and powerless to take on Pakistan despite being more than 7x bigger than Pakistan...........
........IF india dared tried attacking Pakistan, it would cease to exist........
............all indians can do is talk smack on the Internet..........NOTHING MORE.........keep taking but do NOTHING in real life.........
There is one group of Pakistanis here which claim that Pakistan has a mortal threat from India. Other group (like yours) boasts of superior Pakistani strength and ridicules India of not having the power to tackle Pakistan.
You should decide among yourselves. In the meantime, we are surging ahead in our economic power, while you are having a loan-to-mouth existence.
The ruler of Junagarh did the same thing, but didn't you guys invade it? didn't you guys conduct a referendum there to prove to the world that the will of the people is to merge with India? Didn't you guys invade Goa because the people wanted to merge with India? Didn't you guys invade Hyderabad? So why won't you do a referendum in Kashmir? Because you know you will lose You guys are just hypocrites.
Answered this question several times regarding referendum in J&K.
Referendum was to be done in the entirety of J&K, and not just in the part India had.
For the referendum, UN had laid out certain steps to be followed in sequence.
Step 1- Pak removes all its regular and irregular forces from J&K
Step 2 - After Step 1 is done, India removes majority of forces and keeps only those necessary for law and order
Step 3 - Referendum under UN supervision
Pakistan never completed Step 1, so no referendum was possible.
