Afghanistan exit strategy agreed on, Pakistan issue unresolved

US is talking to taliban to change their master who are pushing for terror attacks. If they can bring Taliban to talking table and agree on terms of peace then pakistan will have nothing to do in Afganistan.

Indeed , that is of course assuming that somehow India can airlift vital supplies/Create Space Tunnel to Afghanistan ... You know transit route isn't only for NATO soldiers  ... Hint " Atleast check Geography of the region you are so keen to debate on ! ... And once again , you are showing your utter and total ignorance of the ground realities of AfPak region ...
Taliban aren't ready to compromise , they will gladly wait another 10 year and keep fighting ... Uncle Sam wants to negotiate with them , it is not the other way around ... Shows how badly the NATO troops are beaten and are now due to abandon Afghanistan with optimism to the point of foolishness that somehow ANA can manage the country after 2014 , something which even they couldn't ... and my country has decades of experience in Afghan matter , think you can fool us somehow , huh ? If you need my country to bring just bring the Taliban to the table you specially request for intervention ? :azn: You request my country to attend conferences yo decide the Afghanistan's future specially ? Then what hopes you have build upon ?

What fantasies you have made , dear ?

This is the kind of Goofy wishful thinking on your part that tells me that you don't have the foggiest idea about the ground realities of Afghanistan and you are here just to troll. Taliban move in tandem with Pakistan as they depend on Pakistan for their sustenance and supplies. Speak with someone who knows the Taliban-Pakistan relationship before you come to this forum to make a fool of yourself with your naive and wishful theories.

You have the slightest idea of what is happening on the ground. Your Army was worried about Taliban talking to Nato, That is the mail reason every now and then pakistan pushes for terror strikes to derail the process. Pakistan is trying to avoid peace talks by killing the taliban leaders who are in the peace process. Pakistan even jailed a taliban leader who is will for peace talks.
The ground reality is there are Taliban leaders who are willing for peace talks only obstacle is pakistan. Hope peace with Taliban will prevail in the coming days.
The spring offensive and bannu jail break are the signals from pakistan which is thinking that Nato will interrupt the peace process but in reality peace talks are going on.
Even Karzai insisted Taliban to gaurd the oil pipeline which is a signal what is going to happen in future.

Your post suggests that your interpretation of facts is in Concorde with the notion that a peaceful Afghanistan is a Afghanistan with a future -is this the position you are taking? And would you agree that Karzai's comments regarding Talib as guarantors of the pipeline suggest that US policy makers and Mr. Karzai may not be on the same page? Who then is the spoiler there?

It's a very complex situation, not just for Afghans but for the US - once again, consult a map -- if US and NATO will declare "mission accomplished", how then will they justify maintaining bases? if it is not mission accomplished, why then are they evacuating?

See, the basic problem is the Afghanistan that was created in Bonn - will the US allow the reconstitution of Afghanistan? if yes, how then will it stay in Afghanistan? If maintaining the ANA and the Afghan state with annual input of approximately US$ 4.5 billion is a problem, how will then will the creation of a developing Afghanistan be possible?? Yes, India are very rich and can easily afford to sustain and develop Afghanistan, but lets see whether they will put their money where their mouth seems to be.

That is good that he has the slightest idea of what is happening on the ground because you are even ignorant of that ...
Are you debating here just for the sake of it ? Why do you keep diverting the topic and changing your statements ?
At least be on one page ! Pakistan pushes for terror strike or the NATO's intolerant attitude towards Afghans makes it worse ?
Where is the proof for that so called " terror strike " ? :azn: ... Pakistan was ready to assist US in the peace talks ... Only that Americans fools thought that they could negotiate a peace agreement without involving us in ... The talks failed badly !
Really ? :azn: So now killing Taliban leaders is wrong according to you ?

Yeah , NATO and Taliban want peace but Pakistan is suddenly so powerful that it has become an obstacle and NATO cant do a damn about it , huh ? :azn:

Let them go on ! In the end , we have to be on board and forget the developed-under-the-influence strategy of " Talk , Fight , Build " !

- Pakistan wants full verification of the contents of each container which NATO/US do not want.
- Pakistan also wants to inspect the contents and US is not agreeing to that.
- Pakistan has evidence that contents of the containers are used to incite violence and terrorism in Pakistan and it has been very blunt about stating all this in the meetings with US/NATO.
All this info gained from following twitter. :)
