I bet ur ancestors were sufi saints like baba bulay shah,sachal sarmast,baba farid,data sahib and other.... this myth of urs has been busted several times... no pashtun spread islam in india.. their might be some bazurghs but on a massive scale no... infact afghans themselves were non muslims who converted to islam thanks to central asians... remember the hindu shahi kingdom and the bamiyan buddhas thats ur heritage!

Traditions-wise and qualities wise pre-islamic pashtuns were close to arabs so we converted to islam from teachings of arabs, sahaba didnt use force...remember you cant subdue pashtuns by force.
On the other hands we and central asians, not arabs introduce you to islam, either through conquests or preachers.
