Exactly. This is the language they understand.Yea thats because they know that we have fenced, built manned posts, and shut off almost the entire Durand line now.
most of the "unpaid" afghan non pushtoon leaders want this.because they dont want to be part of pakistan/ or pushtoons super majority

others simply want to get rid of pushtoons and hope pushnistan will let them get independence
will some die hard liberal nationalist pushtoon thinks that they will conquer Pakistan
all in all this simply means what IK said today..afghanistan is fractured..noone group will be able to lead it..
it should simply be divided into four parts as per 1996
1. General dostum who is sitting in uzbekistan and is leaders of uzbeks hsould ismply get his part
2. tajiks leaders are sitting in tajikistan
3. shia/hazaras want protection(hazeb-wahdat)
4 and pushtoons..
we can leave some liberals intact in kabul
Herat is sorrunded by pushtoon areas1996 map doesnt make sense because Kabul and Herat are tajik/hazara majority. 2001 closer to reality.
2001 yellow region is interesting, thats where majority of pashtun tribes similar to indigenous Pakistan pashtuns live. South east Afghanistan is Durrani and ghiljis who are introdurs in west Pakistan and minority. Pakistan should claim that region to reunite tribes on both sides.
Why don't you enlighten everyone with your knowledge on this subject and it's history then.Seems like you people haven't learned anything from history...

Herat is sorrunded by pushtoon areas
Point is afghanistan should either be a loose federation based upon these four parts or four different countries..no other solution exists
If you've read my other posts, then you will know that I have mentioned that we Afghans should recognize Durand line if it means it will bring both AFG and PAK closer as Muslim nations, but more so because the biggest stake holders of Durand line are the people that live there, and unlike Kashmir those people actually prefer to remain with Pakistan and don't want to be part of Afghanistan, so I am not sure why we Afghans create such a big fuss about it when the Pashtuns on the other side don't even want to join us?
However this is not the issue, the issue is that alot of you have this mindset of dividing Afghanistan and taking some parts of it, or dominating it somehow or someway, and then when the bad effects of it show itself in the future and Afghans start criticising Pakistan's bad policies or when your enemies start using us against you, then you all jump into this bandwagon of anti-Afghan.
Why not take positive developmental roles in Afghanistan? You don't see America trying to conquer or dominate the Canadians and yet those two nations have intertwined interests and there is barely any problem between them. Abu Jahl and Umar had a conversation between each other and it went something like this...
Umar: So you think might makes right?
Abu Jahl: Yes might makes right!
Umar: Then in time those who are weaker than you will conspire against you
Abu Jahl: "Silent"
Even if Pakistan somehow takes Afghanistan or parts of it through force or fraud without an Islamic unity, don't you we would as Umar said "conspire agaisnt you" or wait for the right time should the opportunity ever presents itself that we would work against Pakistan? I ask why not have developmental policy instead of these shady policies that hurt us than benefit us?
