Afghan nationals among 36 arrested with weapons

At least 36 suspects, including Afghan nationals, were arrested and arms and ammunition were recovered from them in a search operation in Tarnol area on Tuesday.

According to police sources, the search operation was jointly conducted by Islamabad Police, Pakistan Rangers and intelligence agencies on the receipt of information about the stay of suspects in the area.

As many as 300 houses were searched and at least 36 suspects including Afghan nationals were arrested during the door-to-door search operation. Police sources said that weapons, including a Kalashnikov, 22 rifles, pistols and hundreds of bullets, were recovered from the suspects.

A suspicious car and a motorbike were also impounded during the search operation, added the sources. The arrested suspects were shifted to an undisclosed place for further interrogation.

It is better to throw them out, why we allow them to come in Pakistan without visa or any identifications. A burden of 20 to 30 million people crippled of our economy and bring nuisance to our society. They are mostly unskilled workers just adding more burden and crime in Pakistan. They don't pay a single penny tax but enjoy full facilities depriving our needy Pakistanis for many aspects.

They are smugglers and extremely anti Pakistani often indulge in anti Pakistan activities.

It’s clear from an economic and security point of view, the presence of so many Afghan refugees is dangerous for Pakistan. They remain a drain on a developing country. Now that some semblance of order has returned to Afghanistan, they should be returned there and the border needs to be tightly controlled so they do not come back. Untold billions have been lost due to the presence of these refugees and the damage done to security is immeasurable.

Dara Adam Khel specifically and Khyber Agency in general were the key arms producers but not anymore as almost all the factories and small outlets have been either closed or destroyed during the PA ops. That is why we have seen quite a big surge in arms prices in Pakistan since 2010.

Even when Pakistan tries to wire the border then Afghan President started to cry like a woman that don't want to be controlled and shouting cross border issues. Afghan peoples are the most disloyal peoples on earth. read Afghan history the always harm their beneficiary. All the bad things they do including lawatat that is why they are suffering like a hell, we should separate over selves from these cursed peoples.

People from both sides of the borders consider it an obligation to cross the border as per their own will. They are inter married across the borders and have relations on either side. This is one of the major reasons why people in tribal areas are sympathetic towards afghans. There is lots of trading without customs and taxes from both sides which runs household on the border belt.

FATA in Pakistan is a tribal area where FATA people want their tribal rules not to be affected by the GOP rules and laws. Their police is different and made up of locals from tribes. Their courts are different, jirga basically. There are political agents through which GOP communicates and controls them.

KPK wanted to absorb FATA in its legislative rules but the elected people of FATA representing FATA in provincial assembly of KPK rejected this proposal.

I see. However surely the tribal leaders of FATA and the Pak Government can sit down and work out something? To help reduce smuggling and terrorism which will help the people of FATA as well as all of Pakistan. Surely FATA can see that an open border without rigid checks is not in their interests?

These Afghan refugees are proven hardcore criminals & rented terrorists, but still the Govt. has not thought about deporting them.
