If helicopter was shot down, how come there are any survivors ?
Either taliban is lying, or they should provide some proof of alive crew with some photo or video.

not shot down,the heli had crossed it's flying hours,was going for an overhaul,crash landed in logar.The survivors were captured and the heli was burnt/destroyed.

Its quite hilarious Afghanistan have failed to eliminate Taliban and they are blaming GHQ, and ISI just like there brothers INDIAN. Just a question for all those who are so against the idea that there Govt. has failed them how come a country with a minute budget can fight proxy with Afghanistan who is in bed with INDIA and USA.
This also shows the current peace situation inside the country just a suggestion for ANA please stop posing for pics for there twitter account and start to do what there govt. is paying them to do.

No sir I am just saying that the Heli was given permission by the AF MOD to traverse AF airspace, but came down probably for technical reasons, now the crews are in a remote area with Talis.

In this kind of situation usually AF special forces will attempt to free the captives but since the captives are Pakistani's and the hands of GHQ proxies aka Talis so I am not too worried about their safety, they will ordered by GHQ to release them without harm and the Talis will comply.

If you dont believe Talis are GHQ proxies then we are completely obtuse in our understanding of the region.

This helicopter was not shot down but rather made an emergency landing. Probably no conspiracy involved. Ran into trouble at the wrong location. Talibans have already acknowledged holding our crew. My source provided following information:Afg :

1. MI 17 hel of Punjab Govt force landed at spin Jumat (masjid) area of Azra Dist, Logar prov Afghanistan. Hel flew at 0845 hrs from Peshawar to Bokharab, Uzbekistan, carrying 6x Passangers including 5x Pakistani crew and 1x foreigner(Russian).

Details of civilians are:-
a. Col (Retd) Shafeeq Ur Rehman.
b. Col (Retd) Safdar Hussain.
c. Capt (Retd) Safdar Ashraf.
d. Flight Engr Nasir Mehmood.
e. Crew Chief Muhammad Kausar.
f. Sergei Sewastianow

2. Reportedly all the indls were apprehended by local Talibans and hel burnt. FIP.

Engineers can make assessment that Aircraft can make 1000 KM flight and on that assessment pilots tries to take aircraft for repairs or services, it saves time and money.
