Afghan media: Pakistani helicopter crash-lands in Logar, 6 on board captured

Afghan talk shows are saying the heli didn't crash it landed there on purpose and breached afghan airspace. According to them it landed there to help the taliban that is why the heli got burned so that there are no traces of any proof.

I am all for breaching afghan airspace again though .

Stop saying engineers. They were technicians. Engineers doesn't fix aircraft, technicians do.
And just because it was going for "repairs" doesn't mean it was "broken". All aircraft go through scheduled inspection regardless of their airworthiness. This one was probably going for a letter check. I still can't believe a country that boasts about building airplanes in house doesn't have the capability to overhaul it's aircraft. If it was going for some major mods that's a different story, but if it was just a case of regular maintenance, we should be doing that in house

That depends on the level of inspection and then the work amount of repair it requires. For obvious reasons you cant set up a whole repair depot and train technicians if you dont have enough units to justify the expenditure

None of hostage related to Army Chief: ISPR

Rumours being spread about an identity of various crew members of the Punjab Government helicopter that crash landed in Lugar province of Afghanistan on Thursday last.

“None of hostage-related to Chief of Army Staff (COAS).

Rumours, in this behalf, are absolutely baseless,” Tweet message by DG ISPR issued here on Saturday read.

Hostages lives are very precious and all efforts are being made for their safe and early return, it added.
