Don't be disappointed in Imran Khan for this. He is giving Afghan gov a chance to reciprocate his offer. PTI government has much experience about Afghan-based crime from governing KPK for the last 5 years.

I have actually come to know some Afghan Pukhtoons who are very pro-Pakistan studying in madrassas and working in Pakistan. The demographics of the Afghans in US are mostly Tajik or Shia Pukhtoon.

Pukhtoons are part of the Pakistani nation so I have nothing against them and you are right out of all the groups from that hell hole bordering Pakistan they are generally grateful.As for Shia most Afghans I have met living here in Kew Gardens,Queens where I live are Sunni there is like two Afghani mosques where I live nearby almost all of them got beef with Pakistan and love India way too much these guys are mostly the religious types not the secularists west coast types living in California.I still like IK and generally I heard from my folks who live in Abbottabad that crime,bomb attacks plus police couruption has gone there since PTI has been in governing mode there.I hope through cultural exchanges and with OBOR projects with China in Pakistan that the Afghanis may drop this mentality but I highly doubt that as Afghanis are known to be backstabbers not to just Pakistanis but having met Iranians,Uzbeks, and other people from the neighboring states that border Afghanistan no one trusts them or like them
