Afghan forces raid Pakistani village, kill 2 ‘Taliban suspects’

* Afghan forces raid house of tribal elder Sadullah in Badini area close to border

QUETTA: Afghan security forces raided a house inside Pakistan, kidnapped two suspected Taliban fighters and later shot them dead, sources said on Saturday.

The incident took place in Badini area close to the Afghan border.

“The Afghan forces raided the residence of tribal elder Sadullah Kakar and whisked away two Taliban suspects,” the sources said.

The house is located more than a kilometre inside the Pakistani territory, they said, adding that the Afghan forces violated the borders, attacked the residence of Kakar and took with them two persons – Abdullah and Muhammad Sarwar Shabozai. Residents of the area confirmed the two people had been shot dead by Afghan forces. Officials said the Afghan authorities had not returned the bodies of the slain Pakistanis. The relatives of the victims said, however, that three people had been abducted and killed by Afghan forces. The third victim, according to them, was identified as Din Muhammad.

Taking strong exception to the border violation, the Balochistan government has informed the Foreign Ministry about the incident. “We have convened an immediate meeting with the Quetta-based Afghan Consul General through the Foreign Ministry to discuss the incident that took place in Qilla Saifullah,” said Balochistan Home Secretary Nasebullah Bazai.

Er...you do realize by supporting the violation of sovereign territory and taking pleasure in the humiliation of nation, you just about make a mockery of everything the United States is claiming it's doing in trying to create a stable and peaceful region. With that kind of attitude you will never win the hearts and minds of the people in the region. Afghanistan's entire population is even less than one province of Pakistan. Pakistan is a nation of 185 million people and is the 2nd largest Muslim nation on earth. America is all over the Muslim world, so better be nice to the Pakistanis. Pakistan is the only Muslim country that is a Nuclear Power.

As for Afghan National Army, they are just a 5 year old army created by U.S. and NATO forces. We'll just see how long it lasts in the region. Pakistan army can get very ruthless. We all remember the Afghani army crying when Pakistan army fired rockets in Afghanistan last year. We are not worried about an infant army called "ANA". Once U.S. leaves the region, ANA will also want to leave but they'll be destroyed in Afghanistan because we all know U.S. just cares about itself and doesn't give a sh!t about Afghan people.

PA doesn't care what happens on our western border. Our main concern is India, and it will always be them. When ever Indians violate our sovereignty, we respond very effectively. Whether it was IAF violating air space, or Indian army shooting at us in the line of control.

American p***ys can enjoy the drone attacks and the killing of few militants, but it won't last very long. Their butt has always been kicked and it will continue until 2013. Few violations like these doesn't matter much. Once they leave, which is 100% expected, the Afghan forces will go back in their rat holes.

People can call Pakistan whatever they want, failed state, or a terrorist state. The fact is, our country is still running. If a country like Nigeria would be in this situation after 2001, then it would have collapsed by now into 10 pieces. So unlike Nigeria or Ethopia, there is something out there in Pakistan that is keeping the country running. Every country has to go through tough times and for us, this is the worse. Nothing is going to get any worse than this. Already, truce between Taliban has begun, relations between other Asian countries have improved, and if we all look now, bombings in cities have been lowered. In fact, there is no problem except in Tribal Areas, Karachi, and parts of Baluchistan.

Where it's right, it must be commended, for e.g, its role in flood relief etc.

Where it's wrong, it must be condemned, for e.g., its support for the Taliban as 'strategic assets', killing of journalist etc..
