I can understand what you are saying but the thing is that even the safest zones of Kabul are not safe enough. Taliban/ISIS have ability to attack even the safest zones of Kabul which can get you killed anytime. So they would obviously would be in harms and would be a legitimate target as per Taliban/ISIS.

Yes there is a danger of attacks even in safe zones, but my point is that they will not be in harm's way in the sense that a true army officer usually is. I was pointing to the level of corruption in the ANA and the Indian involvement which is encouraging or supporting that. This batch of ANA cadets is a game by India, which is not being played for the safety of Afghan people but only to achieve Indian objectives and so only perpetuates the debauched control of the Northern Alliance on Afghanistan. So there is no need to respect or empathize with them.

Haha. You should really research a bit more about the Afghan govt and army. According to the international media, both the govt and the army are corrupt and debauched. All of the prime positions, including the training at the IMA, are awarded through contacts. None of these cadets will serve. They got in to the Afghan forces to get their hooks into corruption and get their bachas.

I think it's only logical for a person to look at all sources of information, analyze them and then come to your own conclusions. One shouldn't blindly accept anything, nor reject anything on the basis of bias. In doing so, a person will only ensure his own loss.

I believe in international media after cross referencing it with multiple sources and also matching it with its background. I will accept negative news if it is true. I do believe that the Pakistani army suffered defeats at khem karan and longewala. I know that operation searchlight was a major blunder which destroyed our relationship with the Bengalis. I accept that the demand for the freedom of Bangladesh was completely legitimate.

Accepting negative news allows one to learn from it and become stronger. It seems as if India strongly lacks in this area.

May be Indian media is too scared of its establishment and can hardly openly criticize it. Hopefully Indian media in future, will be as free as Pakistani media is.
