If you look at for example sci fi/horror movies the white guy is the hero but black guy is the one that gets eaten or messes up. Asians are nerds or cowards. Watching TV over time has the psychological affect where one thinks a certain race is above. I can choose , however what the poor folks don't realize is all 4-5 Candidates that reach in final round are all servants to the entity "X". No matter who you will vote for , the Candidate who will be selected will "BOWING" to a foreign financial entity

I'm glad someone had the audacity to look at history from a lens that isn't crafted from the Oxford Press. Having said that, this narrative requires caution

1. South Asia under Hitler/Imperial Japan would have been just as bad as it was under Colonial Britian

2. The colonial venture in British India was already tethering on the verge of collapse even before the second world war. The two main forces that would shape the future of the region were already in motion: Khilafat Movement and the Non-cooperation Movement. Ergo, the colonial departure from the region was a certainty even without the World War 2.

3. Subhash Chandra Bose represents a great case study if one is to evaluate this narrative. Bose allied himself with Hitler and in the end had very little to show. He left Germany disillusioned after Hitler attacked Russia.

Of course, all of this does not make Churchill a saint. He was just as bad/good as Hitler and Stalin even though he is much revered in the West.

If anyone is deluded enough to think that the Japanese were coming to free British controlled South Asia, they should study the Japanese occupation of Indonesia, after they "Liberated" it.

Maybe a bit subjective, but the Japanese were far more brutal in their occupation of territories than many others.

My grandfather was captured several times by the Japanese in Burma, but managed to escape each time. Before getting sent back to India after a Japanese officer nearly sliced his head open in a melee.

I hate modern day revisionists from South Asia who in their hatred for everything British or Western, want to delude themselves in to thinking that the Axis were on some noble cause of anti imperialism.
