There are many pakistanis with afghan roots and i am one of them and i am damn proud of it. Our families fought along with Quaid-e-azam to get Pakistan. We are the ones who have been serving in army and defended Pakistan in all its wars and we have been/are working to eliminate the threat from our western border since 1947.

For a film , he has fabricated his lineage. He is claiming royal linage from Barakzai dynasty but the person he is mentioning to be his great grandfather is Ahmad Jan whose full name was "Hakim Ahmad Jan Khan Hindi" , obviously he was man of Indian descent.
