I think you are referring to the cousin of one of the individual by the name Vaqas or something, not Salman.
His cousin was on a show and stated that last valentine's day this person was using the most foul language about the Prophet ,s.a.w. If this happened a year ago and these individuals were roaming about & going about their blogging then indeed the law failed.
Same thing happened and we saw the unfortunate consequences for S. Taseer. FYI, he used to say a lot more . way lot more to be precise & not very different from this bunch .
There is no such thing as absolute freedom!

They are being held under PPA. And seeing their crimes, which are anti-state in nature, it is justified to held them under PPA.

Firstly, how can you be so sure that they have been abducted by our security/law enforcement agencies ?



Secondly, Detention under Section 6 of PPA may be sanctioned through an order in writing and the state is required to communicate to the accused the reasons for ordering preventive detention within fifteen (15) days of making such order. Preventive Detention under PPA has been subjected to the requirements of Article 10 of the Constitution that provides safeguards for citizens as to arrests and detention.

This is NOT Preventive Detention, the Interior Minister has in fact ordered the Islamabad Police to recover the missing activist as soon as possible with the help of all relevant institutions ........ This is a case of Enforced Disappearance ... And Enforced Disappearance is illegal under all circumstances and the Supreme Court of Pakistan has held that such disappearances are violation of the Constitution of Pakistan ....
