@Joe Shearer for you
Your father was not "ACM- Idris Hassan Latif"- So your comparision to the topic makes no sense at all.
Yes, under the circumstances its sane advice. Though not to be made in public.
Far too many cases of muslim vendors spitting on vegetables, urinating on fruits or dunking the fruits in gutter water.
And those are just the one's captured on Video.
Chacha ye kya kiya ....
That is because in the mid-20th century, acting was not considered to be a noble profession. Therefore, Muslims would conceal their identities (and family names) to go into acting.
Another unrelated thing I discovered is that Muslim women from the zamindaari families, from the late 1800s to mid-1900s always had a masculine name, along with the customary suffix of Begum. On further research I learned that this tradition was to distinguish from the nautch and dancing girls at the time, who typically used feminine names.
Yeah, as usual, you lot have cognitive issues. State never discriminates, people may do it. That's the social issue prevalent in all countries including India. Unlike Pakistan who themselves have burned mosques, killed Muslims (by calling them non-muslims), bombed Muslims using state machinery, and discrimates people based on their faith on a state level, and it's folks comes here claiming all high and mighty. But can't lift a finger when it comes to other Muslims be it in Xinjiang, Iraq or Afghanistan aided the oppressors in killing more Muslims.That was some serious sarcasm...
The new normal in India.
