dude what I meant was that it was difficult to maintain them for long... Not that we couldnt do, it would be very difficult...

Let me know what would have prevented India to maintain them for long especially when Bhutto and other Pakistani politicians were desperate to get back the POWs? If you look at it, it was a poker game on who would blink first but in this game, the opponent(Bhutto) was showing his hand and it does not take anyone to understand that Bhutto would have caved in sooner if only Indira had held on to the POWs for few more days if not weeks.
