Abu Dhabi abolishes permit requirement to purchase alcohol

more serious note
So not true....
Don't mind me. I am just a ignorant Pakistani who thinks Islam belongs to Pakistan and brown people. Muslims are not allowed to -

  • murder
  • rape
  • drink alcohol
  • make money by corruption
  • etc

Which is why we have Islamic Republic of Pakistan where such things are not allowed. My sincerest request to brother @Abu Dhabi is to copy Pakistan and become a Islamic Republic.

. .
What is the big deal here? UAE is a desert strip that threw the Palestinians under the bus. Abolishing permit to purchase alcohol is a walk in the park.

Doesn't Islam say "لا اکراه فی الدین"? I believe it is directly from the Quran.

The problem with the United Arab Emirates is not that they do not enforce Sharia law. That's actually a good thing. The problem with them is that they depend too much on foreign countries, particularly those countries that have come here from thousands of miles away to loot our resources and turn the region into a mess, and they have paved the way for furthering American and Israeli influence and interests in the region.

Pakistan has almost a quarter of a billion people. Nuclear weapons. Formidable Army and i will trust you when you say that the majority are devout Muslims (since i have never been)

you guys have all that, which is great al hamdulelah and its something to be proud of

Now what Pakistan needs to work on and market to the world is that you can be an Islamic republic that follows the sharia law to the T AND ALSO be a fully developed country with the biggest/cleanest cities, the best medical care, the best schools and universities, safety, industries and manufacturing, very high tech, the best infrastructure ...etc

But that's not the case. Which is why people want to leave Pakistan as soon as they are financially capable

I think us Muslims ALL wish our nations were so called (100% islamic) and HIGH-tech modern formidable countries that the west looks up to. Too bad not a single Islamic nation has been able to accomplish this.

UAE is a desert strip

Not too shabby for a "desert strip", Especially since our population is only 4.5% that of Pakistan.

also, The UAE did not throw the Palestinians under the bus. The nations policies are Pro-Palestinian people, we will continue sending billions of $ worth of medical aid and clothes. We will continue building townships for them. We will diplomatically (slowly but gradually) fight for their rights

Do not dismiss all this due to a political decision to normalize relations with israel ....sheesh

Islam forbid us to drink...

But who says Islam forbid us to give job to non Muslims?

Wasn't Jews were working at time of pbuh era?

Alot of non Muslims were working at time of pbuh as well.

So not true....
He is a resident troll. Just ignore him

The UAE is dependent on expats and tourism, of course they're going to allow alcohol.
