What's new

Absolutely NOT to absolutely YES. Pakistan supplying weapons to Ukraine

Just read that Pakistan agreed to supply Ukraine because the US delivered the IMF loan.

I mean, it is really strange. You guys were never an ally or even a friend of Russia. Rather Ukraine supported few times to Pakistan in the Kashmir issue. So even the US would not have told you, logically Pakistan should ally with Ukraine. On top of that, if you are getting export revenue by selling your arms, Pakistan should welcome it beyond political differences between parties. Even you can offer to sell ammunition to Russia too if they are ready to buy from you.

I wish the Indian defence industry could get something like this in Russia Ukraine war. We recently got something from Armenia. So we are leveraging it.

Question, where is the money going?
To the Generals pockets with promises to retire in western countries I suppose. Most generals have families oversea’s

I see nothing wrong with selling weapons in exchange for money. Who denies sales that benefit your economy?
Wow. How is this benefitting our economy and country? This has proven again how Pakistan is used over and over again by western countries.

If Nawaz Sharif was prime minister from 2013 to 2023, Pakistan wouldn't have lost its sovereignty in such a humiliating way.
Efficient development is done by reinforcing success.

The most successful parts of Pakistan are the parts that have had the steady, competent leadership of the Sharif brothers the longest.

It's not somehow PMLN's fault that every other political force in the country is incompetent.

The country, unfortunately, bought into the anti-Nawaz Sharif propaganda led by the army that was happening from the moment he came into office.

This left him with little political room to do the other things that were necessary to reign in the army.

The U.S. and the Pakistani Military Establishment colluded to remove Nawaz Sharif from office every single time he became Prime Minister.
Sharif clan is so competent and loyal to Pakistan that they live there? All the family have Leave to Remain in the UK. They are settled in UK not in Pakistan. Pakistan and its awam is just a cash cow for them

PTI is PPP with better marketing and less brains.

All they did was bankrupt the country, just like PPP.

The only political force that even tries to develop the country is PMLN.

PTI touts always uses the rhetorical device of "tries" "tried" "trying to".

Nawaz Sharif "did', "was doing", "will continue to do".

Nawaz Sharif is a doer, not a talker.
Nawaz’s government went twice to the IMF. What weed are you smoking

IK came in August 2018 and war on terror ended in august 2021. But the drone strikes would have continued
but IK said absolutely not for drone bases.

As soon as IK was PM the drone strikes stopped.
Dont flatter yourself. Trump had a policy of minimal interference. He only allowed handful of drone strikes. You really think IKs then army masters cared if he would allow drone strikes? The US under trump did not conduct many strikes in Pakistan and was winding down Afghanistan. That was why they stopped. Anything else is bullsbit meant to make Pakistani egos feel good. Soon as army was done with him, they tossed IK out like every other politician before him. That is the root of Pakistan's problems.

You know it's sad when an Indian has to tell Pakistanis to be more pro-Pakistan. Ukraine continues to be one of Pakistan's most valuable allies and then you see some retarded cultist wanting Pakistan to support Russia even though doing so doesn't benefit Pakistan at all.

Look at exports under Zardari are higher and dip drastically when Nawaz takes over? Final year of PMLN when Nawaz gets jailed, Dar runs abroad, Miftah takes over and then exports go up!

Forward to PTI takeover late 2018, rocky start and then COVID, but then exports surge to historic high! PTI exports $31.55 billion in 2021, and $39.42 billion in 2022.

The data shows us that the key to improving Pakistan's exports is to keep Nawaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar out of power!

"Exports" are not a single line item to be taken by itself.

What matters is the current account, and what a current account balance is being used to pay for.

Nawaz Sharif spent on infrastructure to enable a future of sustainable growth.

PPP and PTI spent that current account on an endless array of consumption subsidies.

If you don't believe me, ask the IMF.

The IMF trusts Nawaz Sharif and his brother, Shehbaz Sharif, but not Imran Khan.

This is despite Imran Khan being the U.S. puppet and Nawaz Sharif being the U.S. Coup Target Every Single Time.

The MC generals are selling all of Pakistan’s ammo to Ukraine and pocketing the money. What happens when Modi launches the next assault in time for elections?

Nothing seems to have been pocketed. The equivalent value of the arms transfers (if indeed done) is claimed to have been used to bridge the gap between Pakistan's budget deficit gap which was a hard requirement for the IMF before their funding was released.

When you do these transfers, its with excess capacity beyond own needs. Actually, a lot of times this helps with transferring inventory that is coming up to half-life, expiry, overhaul so this would allow one to rid of the inventory and re-stock. For the receiving party, the use is imminent, for the transferring party, newer stocks can be stored for even longer.

It's not the "geo-strategic deals", it's that the civil public leadership is out of the loop is most worrying.....

This is why Imran Khan, a patriotic, was removed. No backlash for India who has stayed neutral. Our generals sold out own their Prime Minister for dollars and bend their backsides for their masters. @FOOLS_NIGHTMARE @muhammadhafeezmalik namak haramis

Bottom line, the PDM government was aware and whether that mattered or not is besides the point because this is Pakistan unfortunately. PTI is unhappy with the pivot away from Russia to the Western block. What was done here could have been done under the PTI rule as well. It's just that PTI government was sent packing before the IMF reckoning came our way.

To me, this is just another example of establishment doing what it must to keep the country afloat. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but this is the ground reality in Pakistan.
