ABC News: Chinese-made vaccines leave Indonesians vulnerable to Omicron

Nearly a million infection a day in the US and it is all Pfizer and Moderna.

200K a day in the UK.

Super western vaccines are better than China's? lol

The Western vaccines are indeed better.
The US have a 7 digit number of new cases daily by comparison hence they are better. :sarcastic: :sarcastic:

The number of local infection in China is so low at double digit, how dare the Chinese claimed that their vaccines are better than the Western vaccines?
It is illogical according to them according to statistics.
The more the better.
:omghaha::omghaha:

Australia to ‘push through’ Omicron, as total cases hit 1 million
Country has recorded more than 500,000 cases in the past week as it learns to live with COVID-19.

10 Jan 2022

Australia must “push through” a rapidly-growing Omicron outbreak, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said on Monday, as the country’s total number of COVID-19 cases breached more than one million, more than half of them recorded in the past week alone.

The situation is a turnaround for Australia, which suppressed previous waves of the pandemic through lockdowns and strict border controls and quarantines.

Siti Nadia Tarmizi, the spokesperson for the Indonesian Health Ministry

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia’s number of Omicron cases continues to surge. The Health Ministry recorded 414 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus variant as of Saturday, Jan. 8. Of which, 31 cases were local transmission.

The ministry’s spokesperson Siti Nadia Tarmizi encouraged the public not to travel abroad. “Most of the Omicron cases are from international travelers, so people are expected to postpone [plans] of overseas travel,” said Nadia in a written statement in Jakarta, Sunday, Jan. 9.

Most of the variant cases were found in travelers from Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Fully vaccinated people could still be exposed to the variant of concern.

“We must be vigilant, not to get infected. We must be disciplined in applying the health protocols even though we have been vaccinated. Don’t get infected and infect others,” she underlined.

According to her, Omicron spreads faster than the Delta variant. In Indonesia, cases of the new virus variant continued to increase since it was confirmed on Dec. 16, 2021.

The ministry also encouraged regions to strengthen 3T (Testing, Tracing, Treatment), actively monitor potential infection clusters, and immediately report and coordinate with the center if confirmed cases of Omicron are found.

“We must not be careless. Do not let the COVID-19 third wave occur in Indonesia. Do not let what happened in India also happen in Indonesia, where there was a hike in Omicron cases from 6,000 to 90,000 in the last 10 days. We must prevent this [from happening],” said Nadia.

Indonesia Reports 75 New Omicron Cases
BY :THE JAKARTA GLOBE
JANUARY 10, 2022

Jakarta. Indonesia has recorded an additional 75 cases of the Omicron coronavirus variant, bringing the total number of cases to 414, according to the Health Ministry on Sunday.

“Most of the Omicron cases are related to international travelers so we call on people to refrain from traveling overseas,” Health Ministry spokeswoman Siti Nadia Tarmizi said.

Only 31 cases are local transmission and most of the 414 cases involve fully vaccinated people, she added.

“We must remain vigilant to prevent a third wave of infections from happening here in Indonesia. We have seen what happened in India and it should not happen in Indonesia,” she added.

She has previously said the vast majority of Omicron patients displayed mild symptoms or no symptoms at all.
Indonesia first reported the first Omicron cases in mid-December and by the end of last year, the country already had 136 cases.

The country has seen an uptick in new cases since last week with the daily tally exceeding the 500 mark. Indonesia has recorded a total of 4.27 million Covid-19 cases including 144,129 deaths.

LOl, how well do them work, check out US and UK, thay are competing setting up new daily world infection record now.
I'm sure it must satisfying to see that.
Westerners envy china so much that they keep barking "china china china" all day long for what exactly? Hatred? fear?

It goes both ways. Fear and wonder are powerful combos. Westerners go China, China, China while China goes USA, UK, USA, UK.....
