A very dangerous and disturbing column !

A very dangerous and warning full column i read it just now so i am doing my duty as a Pakistani supporter to post it on a Pakistani defense site so that people can take note of it i don't know whether this is true or false when it has been posted on an reputed newspaper of Pakistan it would be wise for us to find out what this is all about so i am posting. i have no idea where this news came from i saw it in DAWN in the letters to the editor section so i am also concern.

Gearing up to go



ACCORDING to a recent New York Times report, all efforts are being geared up by the CIA to attack the Waziristan region of Pakistan on the pretext that the Taliban are training recruits in this area.

We do not have the capacity to answer the American onslaught if they decide to attack our sovereign country. Whereas this matter can be amicably handled through the talks, all efforts must be made to protect our nuclear facilities wherever they are placed.

The US has full intentions of destroying our nuclear facilities and all this planning is part of it. I request the authorities concerned to immediately take appropriate action before it is too late.

Pakistan has been attacked by the NATO forces in the Waziristan many a times. The lack of control of those region of GoP is the main reason. The only way to protect those regions, or to aviod creating a reason, would be for the Pakistan Military to get in flush all the miltants out and fence the whole of Afghani Border

This is opinion by a reader sent to Letters to Editor section which we have in the newpapers and its similar to the forums where anyone can say anything.

But as the new government in US and u all know they are against Pakistan there were such suggestions to mull such attacks but u can see they can not do it by any ground attack inside Pakistan on a large scale. They only can which they did in the past also to airstrikes which these American chickens do. So u see they migh to it again and by the time u show some reaction their aircrafts are gone.
Now i think the establishment isnt that fool to allow a large scale airstrike if it was made at all ? in the case well if they can shoot US helis in Iraq why cant the tribals in our FATA, i know they can cheers.

War is not some cowboy shoot, IF you think it is safer to kill through a sniper or by airstrikes you take that.Americans are not in anyway chickens, They wont be where they are in this world, if they were. And Please dont give people with some guns unlimited credit, they can do sqwat against the US. I hope the military members and professionals put some light into your quite foolish beliefs. US would sit somewhere in the Arabian Sea and level the whole place. are you telling me the tribals in FATA can stop cruise missiles, f-16's, armoured helis with their ak-47's

I think u are still sleeping go and read again thats what i said that they cant attack using their ground troops and they will if they had to by air power which u also said and i also mention that we cant do anythign if they do it by that way.
They are chickens they could not fight in Iraq on ground and u think they can fight in Afghanistan or our tribal belt without their airpower ??

BTW in iraq their armoured helis were shotdown 2 days back .

Dont count insurgency as miltary actions. Tell me any battle americans have lost in Iraq. They have won everything, Controlling insurgency is not what an army made for, that is why we have policing. You can call them chickens all you want when they threatened "we would bomb you back to stone age" guess who the chicken was. How many armoured heli's did they loose in 3 years, the number of flying hours/sorties to the heli's lost. All i have to say it is quite impressive.They cant fight in Iraq 3000+ lost to more than 100/Iraqis per day, Quite impressive of their military might. They can attack with anyway they choose, but they cant control insurgency.

I am just wondering, Do you think the insurgency works in americans favour. Iraqi's are killing each other, Middle eastern countries are getting divided and confronting each other.I dont know wether things can get any better for America.

And wht meant by an insurgency indeed police is for that matter but of the same country where some internal elements try to create problems not when some other country like US attack you and they declare ur struggle to force back the occupying force as insurgency.

well loosing 3,000 soldiers by super power to armless people with no food, no arms no moden warfare and downing of their even few helis without any power has more significance thn killing of inncoents by US might force who has all the things to kill anyone.

Insurgency dosnt work in US favour, she might get some pretext to attack some other countries on that but in the long run its US to get more hate for its people and more Iran infulence in Iraq.

US wont attack Pakistan's region is the manner being reported. Pakistan is a very crucual ally for US, that stood by it for WoT.

A open attack on Pakistan's waziristan would mean more pressure and probably removal of Mushiji. And with that US will lose out Pakistan as an ally and send out a very wrong signal to the whole world and the right signals to the extremists.

It would be a tragedy, not militarily but more politically.
